I have been a silent reader here and also stays somewhere in Puchong. I do understand how you all feel, morever the housing area I staying is new and also invaded by the PHs, no thanks to some unethnical agents.

To date its been one year and there are few PHs stayed at our landed property, but it is much under control moreover when the committee was been strict towards these PHs.

I already can foresee that SW will be invaded by PHs, due that Puchong is out of the hotspots for PHs. Morever with many vacant units and tons of pubs this is like a beehive to them.

I applaud your efforts to unite and preassure the developer on this despite there is nothing much they can do actually. However, I suggest to get political preassure here. DAP's Ng Sze Han is representing Kinrara for ADUN and I suggest someone to give him a call. If you can get Gobind Singh it will be brilliant. I hope they do aware of the massive influx of PHs that flooding Puchong here

Petition or so wont do anything much but adding preassure will make the owners think twice.

Most importantly, the main culprits are not the PHs but these unethical agents. Back at my housing area we been trying to hunt down the agents who rented many units to the PHs. We even banned them from coming but seems they can find a way here. Looks like there a possbility they are in SW.

As much I not sure if our MPs can do something here, but its worth a shot. Looking at the big picture the main culprits are the loose enforcement on immigration and our higher education sys which somehow attracts these PHs. Yet there no proper enforcement which leads to these PHs do something sinister rather than to obtain education. So involving MPs will make them aware on their problems on their consistuency and then argue during the future parliment sessions. Do not that the ruling gov does not have 2/3 so this time our MP can do something.

I more like pointing the agents are unethical rather than these PHs. I already seen some agents in Puchong conning some locals that they renting to locals until actually they renting to PHs. I have no comment towards these PHs. I know not all of them are bad, but just that the percentage of good ones are sadly outnumbered by those bad ones.

Yup glad you got me. Of coz MP cant simply block PH from renting SW and even getting Jibby wont do anything. Even if say Jibby went for a walk in SW n got attack by these drunken PHs, at most they swarm the area with cops and then kick the hell out of them. Until parlimentaly session and 2/3 obtained to stricten the law to say no to PH then this will happen. Of coz u know that not going to happen

The point is the MP of they elected area will know the problems on their areas and then bring forward on parliment. At very best, new laws will be created to say to curb/control these PHs or something like that, or the home minister/PMO will instruct immigration to be strict and the police to keep a close eye on them (i bet the Puchong Police are doing this now) and cooperate with the MOE to work on a sys to attract quality students only.

So this is a stepping stone as I suggest. If our MPs refuses to act on this, in 5 years time, u know what to do . But knowing our ADUN and DUN in Puchong I believe they are capable ppl with high calibre here, unlike the losing folks in blue

There already a few cases where in Puchong when agents bought locals to rent, then agreement was signed only to found out that local is actually a sleeper agent to bring PHs in. Its hard to fight back as they can claim the PHs are married to them and so on. Be very careful, morever if u deal with a potential tenant who is a single female and claim to bring in her family (malay and indians so far, not to be racist )

What I read on the threatening SMSs by agents is seriously disturbing. I strictly consider something needs to be done here.

Now most importantly to unite those investors who are on the same league, which is to control these PHs out. I believe some also must have been victims of con cases or act out of desperation. I seeing this is done right now

Next, get support from the ADUN of Kinrara first. Provided if he came and provide support during the day you guys face the ppl in SPSetia, that a plus sign. But first report this problem first and see what he can do and advice. The ADUN will be DAP's Ng Sze Han, who is formerly from MPPJ/MPSJ.

If SP setia refuses to burge, then involve MP to stress this in Parliment and this case Gobind Singh. if you follow our politics, you know his is very capable and a fighter. I hope he wont let us down on this.

If u can get Star Metro or Selangortimes to expose/cover this issue, that will be a bigger publicity to humiliate/pressure SP Setia but in the same time it will bring SW's name down for a while.

Anyhow decision is urs.

Unfortunatelly i opt to stay away from this. I not a resident/investor of SW so best if you guys handle this. I just giving suggestions to see what else you can do.

But should u need presence during the meeting with SP Setia and should the timing is right, perhaps i drop by
