QUOTE(arslow @ Aug 24 2012, 05:55 PM) asus cooler looks ugly to my eyes lol. best is jetstream i think my card can't reach 1300 boost, anyway i will try tonight, wish me luck a close second is the PE wow, nice to hear that 670 is behaving good with 301.42, just love nvidia and their driver, have always used the latest whql and never needed to get beta drivers, it just works everytime!! 1248 max boost!!! penang got stock for 680 lightning? they are very similar, using same cooler, just 680 lightning has a bigger pcb i guess This post has been edited by zerohunter: Aug 24 2012, 06:00 PM |

QUOTE(rav3n82 @ Aug 28 2012, 04:03 PM) 83C on max load for a reference card is pretty normal. ah so it's under 70' not 80' A 670 PE on the other hand has excellent temp profile, but at the expense of louder fans, according to reviews. But to be honest, i barely hear anything louder than my single F12 PWM casing fan (exhaust). My PE running at stock non-OC speeds with auto fan settings, idle = 35C, max = 69C (running BF3). |

more fans doesn't mean better cooling, u have to pick the right fans and install them at the right air flow direction

Cuz in my setup, x3 200mm fans, even with high setting they dont make noise at all. is it coz of the low rpm of the fans? This post has been edited by zerohunter: Aug 29 2012, 02:48 PM |

QUOTE(0126910937 @ Aug 29 2012, 11:11 AM) There seems to be alot of this 27 inch WQHD 2560 x 1440 monitors soon to be released in the market but if u think 670 can't handle the resolution, u can consider getting 680 4gb im not sure is a gtx670 enough? If got option to 660ti SLI isit better?? Added on August 29, 2012, 11:18 am QUOTE(sai86 @ Aug 29 2012, 11:13 AM) inno3d-ichill-geforce-gtx-670-herculez not bad though, the currently available msi 670 pe can oc higher, no?This card is juz simply with GPU power @ 125% (MSI AF), increment of 3C temp on auto-fan and beating a Asus 680 (ref?) in almost every bench @ 1920 x1080 is juzzz i wonder what is the MSRP. add RM150 to nvidia suggested price Added on August 29, 2012, 2:49 pmsomeone can't decide between 670 asus dcu ii top and the msi pe, which u guys recommend?
