in a nutshell, 500watt can support 680 ?  :-o

Why don't u just use the psu calculator to calculate?

Geforce recommends a 550W psu anyway.

Guys im confused regarding the memory speed of GTX 660.

At tomshardware, it says 1502MHz GDDR5. http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforc...ark,3297-2.html

At anandtech, its 6.008GHZ GDDR5.http://www.anandtech.com/show/6276/nvidia-geforce-gtx-660-review-gk106-rounds-out-the-kepler-family

At nvidia official website, it's 6.0 Gbps.http://www.geforce.com/hardware/desktop-gpus/geforce-gtx-660/specifications

Anyone can clarify this?

The GDDR5 used is QDR ... hence need to x4 to get the effective clock.

So is it like this

Real memory speed = 1502 Mhz
Effective memory speed = 6008 Mhz.

HUGE DIFF. GTX 660 Ti considered a high end gpu, gtx 650 ti a medium end gpu.

gtx 660? highend?

Medium to high end. GTX 660 can match GTX 660 Ti when it comes to ROP and memory bandwidth bound situations. Texture/shader heavy games, gtx 660 ti will be much better.
