QUOTE(Psykie @ Nov 11 2012, 11:21 PM) I'm planning to upgrade my HD 5850 for CUDA programming and the occasional gaming. Anyone with CUDA experience to advise? Is MSI's GTX 670 PE a good buy, or is it an overkill? The GTX 670 is a beast for gaming but not for CUDA as I read that the new 6xx series gpu have lower CUDA performance Correct me if I am wrong.

QUOTE(marfccy @ Nov 13 2012, 04:01 PM) Hey guys wanna ask how come my rig (as below) cant play skyrim on high settings at 1080p with a consistent 60FPS?? Ive been getting really disappointing frames so far.. 30-50FPS on normal, 30-60FPS in dungeons and buildings, but 10-30FPS on cities!!! Ive checked the geforce site and they stated i should be able to get 60FPS on high.. Ive even tried tweaking the .ini settings to adjust. But frame rates is still low. Worse is that when i dropped the settings to med.. The framerates is still similar.. what logic is this?? Another thing is that my friend with a GTX460 can get solid 60FPS on his rig on med.. I dont understand :/ Can anyone halp me to try solve my problem?? PS: its ahem version. No money buy new games Your cpu ain't exactly a powerful one. p.s find updates 'ahem' This post has been edited by DeepMemory: Nov 13 2012, 04:31 PM

QUOTE(min654 @ Dec 8 2012, 04:09 PM) Hey guys, is there any aftermarket cooling that fits on msi 560ti twin frozr II ? One of the fan just died... If your gpu is still under warranty just send it back to MSI. If not wrong MSI have 3 years warranty right?

QUOTE(sw1314 @ Dec 19 2012, 03:15 AM) msi 660ti PE OC performance will better than leadtek 670?? since its factory OC.. or even OC still 670 better?? and 660 OC enough to play all current game in 1080p without lag?? The 660 Ti when oced will beat the 670 on stock but do not forget that the GTX 670 can also be overclocked. i would go for the Leadtek GTX 670 at RM10xx if I have the budget.

Why wouldn't you wan to overclock? What is your budget exactly? the GTX 660 non-ti will be able to play most games but not at max settings of course

QUOTE(sw1314 @ Dec 19 2012, 05:01 PM) actually i still new.. i duno anything about overclock >< duno how to do it i can stretch my budget max to 1100 the most i can get is leadtek 670 n MSI 660 ti PE in rm1125 but if 660non-Ti can support i dun want spend so much on it can get cheaper as good for sure I see. I would advise you to get the Leadtek GTX670 over the 660s. Then you can download Msi Afterbuner overclocking software. After that you can go to MSi, Asus, Gigabyte etc website and check their clock speeds and on the MSI Afterburner you can increase the clock speed to match the clock speed from the other brands GTX 670 oc edition. Otherwise the cheapest GTX 660 Ti will do if you want to save some money. You can also overclock the GTX 660 Ti. This post has been edited by DeepMemory: Dec 19 2012, 05:05 PM
