Yesterday, my p2p download speed dropped all of sudden to 9kbps.
Tried restarting router, reinstalled utorrent, downloaded torrent with highest seeds but nothing seem to be improving.
Even surfing internet is slow.

I'm using VIP 5 btw. Is it possible that im being throttled?

Agreed on this. But then again, he mentioned that his surfing was slow. I'm getting 1.2Mb/sec on my 10mbps maxis fiber. No problem.

Not really.

Some say maxis sux, while some say unifi sux.

But so far im a supporter of streamyx/unifi broadband and so far so good...

ur solution bro is try new bittorrent program. I recomen BITCOMET
http://www.bitcomet.com/

this prog cannot be throttled

no matter what ISP u use.. some say change to maxis but if now maxis full speed jus wait few month they start throttle like everyone else..

keep Unifi and try bitcomet and make sure u enable LTS feature

I read somewhere at maxis forum, they mentioned that p2p will be slow until 1st of September

Since they share the same backbone, then I guess unifi also will be the same

Dear All,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. It is with feedback like yours are we able to better understand and keep abreast of our users' needs and expectations. Rest assured it has been noted for our ongoing improvement and training.

With reference to the issue of poor latency on the Maxis Home Fibre Internet service, we wish to share that we are aware of this and rectification work is currently ongoing. This maintenance work will not affect normal browsing. However, you may experience some slowness in P2P till 1st September 2012.

We hope to get your kind understanding in this matter as we strive to get this matter sorted out for you. We appreciate your kind patience.

Thank you.
