The WIFI signal of the Maxis Residential Gateway Modem (Technicolor Gateway=TG784n v3) is very poor signal if compare with my previous UNIFI-D-Link (custom flashed with DD-WRT). Any solutions beside using homeplugs...? Added on 10~Nov~12 Temporary Solution:http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2384890/+540 Well, I sacrifice my Maxis VOIP service for this setup. So If I want use the DECT-PHONE, need to re-setup Technicolor(Thomson) back again. This post has been edited by UFO: Nov 10 2012, 12:13 PM

QUOTE(JustCrazy @ Nov 16 2012, 02:51 PM) Hey guys, I just got my maxis home internet installed and they're using the technicolor router. The problem is when i tried changing the DNS on my laptop, I cant access the sites that I used to be able to access when i was using unifi. So I was wondering if anyone experienced this before? And how do I change the DNS on the router or is changing it on the PC is enough? Yes, changing it on the PC is enough. Either LAN or WirelessLAN connection under "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)".
