This worked for 6600gt. I used rivatuner, and made it so that 2D mode core 300. 3D mode will ramp up to 550. But now my 8600GT UE, the speeds are the same whether its 2D or 3D mode. So i'm not quite sure how to make now. Hahahowever such implementation only apply for higher end graphic card ..

I went back to re-read the article. I understand what he's doing now.
Since I'm using 163 drivers which arent supported by rivatuner 2.02, I'll do the trick next time. What I will do is underclock it during 2D modes, then set the speeds back to normal when in 3D mode.
