r u sure coolviva pro is so good? BUt the design abit >< Not really like it lo... see how 1st la. Any other recommendations/
*
well from reviews and personal usage i would recommend it bcoz it can support both nvidia and ati cards and its quite good in terms or performance...

pros of it thumbup.gif

-better performance then vf900cu
-its only rm95
-can support ati and nvidia cards with its multi holes
-its silent (20db)

now for the cons of it laugh.gif

-its fugly
-its big (blocks 1 3/4 pci slots but can put in a sli card if wanted..)
-its heavier then vf900cu (320g mar)

for other coolers i would recommend is accelero series from shawty lor, but not zalman, bcoz it is grossly overpriced

yup, seriously, its an under-estimated VGA cooler. Trust me, do look up on reviews on it, you would see that it comes really close to AC coolings with half the price. unfortunately, i broke my heatpiptes on the Evercool Duallies, hands itchy and bend it sweat.gif
*
rofl, u wanted to bend it to face the side panel fan right =b

yes it is an excellent cooler, really good performance for its dirt cheap price, although, the fan could be better(hint: tke the fan off and replace with an 120mm) =b

hi there..i wanna ask if its normal for a GC temperature to go up alongside its age. when i first bought my card in last years September, its idle temp was 55-58 degree celcius. now after 1year 2months, the idle load will always be higher than 60. normally at 61-64 degrees.

ive already changed the paste n suck out dust from the hsf quite a few times. anyone experiencing the same?
*
you mounted it wrongly tongue.gif
But normally no, the temps stay the same or better (because using better and better TIM mar haha)

unless your hsf fan is losing its rpm due to aging smile.gif

3m tape is also thinner then normal cello tape smile.gif

You may try normal double sided tape, but i can confirm that it will melt after about a 2 weeks of use and removal of it is hard as heck :S

You guys got any idea to cool this thing?

Idle = 70 C
Load = 80 C

Please help me!
*
fix your link pls

ideas?

1) Use water?
2) use an aftermarket HSF?
3) go ghetto and stick a fan on it using zip ties or cable ties
4) downclock it?
5) clean the stock HSF if its horribly full of dust bunnies?
6) replace TIM with AS5 or TX-2?

need more ideas? laugh.gif
