hi all

this car is Theta II or CVVL NU?

Different Theta II and CVVL NU

the web says...NU spec have:

-passenger airbag at below aircond button
-steering have some icon change
-wiper right / headlight left
-engine have cover

its that right? please help me to identify the picture below..that spec was NU or Theta?

My car 2012 says using 10L/100km...cannot go 14km/L...engine cvvl...

if you read again,

a MAXIMUM fuel economy of 14km/L...
maximum is always ideal case.....

10L/100km is a good average .....

Really? Cant achieved 8L/100km?

If 10.5L/100km average... With ron95 RM2.08/L...i need fill RM21. 84 to go 100km.. If travel 300km..need fill RM65. 52m..its that normal?

Can i improve fuel consumption by change engine oil to 5w-30 full synthetic and iridium spark plug? Or any idea to improve a bit fuel consumption? Air filter? Rims? Tyre? Gearbox oil? Tq

My experience.. If purely City drive + jam + short distance... It can reach 15L/100km on display...

Purely PLUS highway... Can get 6.4L/100km...lower of drive about 100kmph... Full tank can hit 750km or more...

Stock engine oil already using fully synthetic and iridium plugs for NU engine... Other stuffs add on maybe can help abit...

But a 2.0L sedan.. U can't expect it to behave like hatchback right.....

U shud also know there is a official K5 page in FB right? There got more information.. Search kia optima k5 club Malaysia.

Does anyone know the function of these "L" shape on each side of the headlamps ?

Do they turn on when the main light is on or when turning signal ?
