if still not cold, then you need to keep pushing the SC, or change to another SC.

"The shareholders are proud of our Malaysian Paralympians. Being a homegrown company, Naza will further reward our champions with a residential suite at Trion 888, Equine Park in addition to an All-New Kia Sportage each," said SM Nasarudin who made the statement from Rio, Brazil today.

K5 dual climate Aircon is not cold compared to other brands.
If you are using 21 and above..sometimes it will try adjust and you will feel abit of hot-air as they use hot air to control temp in car ..while cold air output is always lowest.

If it is very obvious you get hot air during car idle then problem with your Aircon.

I claimed a control value before. Now waiting for my new compressor and some temp sensor actuator to arrive.

Good question Aaron,

before buying,

I have test drove few d-segment car,

Passat after big discount only 117k that time, but too many bad stories about the gearbox, and as passenger, this in the most uncomfortable B segment to be in, spec wise ok, fc ok, drive ok

Accord mazda6 and camry , good car, but the spec for my budget which around 140k, accord and camry feel a bit empty

sonata, I like the android head unit, drive wise no much different from k5

k5 in the other hand, for new 2016 cbu unit, I bought at only 133k, but the spec and quality wow, and the image of the car, till now, while approaching my car, I felt impressed.

the bad thing I didn't like about k5 is the small head unit and very stiff suspension and bad sound proofing, the rest superb..value for money..

Hyundai Sonata has the executive look, perhaps tailored more for businessman. On the other hand, the Kia Optima K5 has a more sporty stance and cater for those young at heart.

3 engine mountings are needed for Optima K5. The price wise, if you buy outside spare parts shops, I believe is less than RM1K for all 3.

Cheers!

K2? I believe is K3 sedan. biggrin.gif

For the second hand optima K5, you have to make use the owner has serviced his/her k5 at the authorized Kia SC accordingly, so that the car is covered under the 5 years warranty. You may call up Nazakia customer serivce to check its services.

Cheers!

Steering rack and aircon are the 2 main problems.

both potentially very expensive problems if not covered under warranty. Join the facebook club to read more. Other than that its a great car.

thx guys. im looking at the facelift model year 2014, should be covered under warranty (if the owner follow the service schedule). price below 100k. so the steering rack and air cond is manufacturing problem or wear and tear prob?
