Hi, there are some news circulating within the bank communities today that the Bank Negara are considering some options to further lower individual debts either by lowering the loan amount or tightening the approval criteria. If finalize the implementation might take effect by middle of September. I heard they are considering reducing the maximum loan amount from 90% to 85%. The 2nd option is to reduce the maximum tenure of the current 9 years to 7 years. Whatever option they choose will certainly deprive many to own a car. However I would like to remind that this news is still unconfirmed at this stage. For those who want to own a new car rather be quick then taking risk waiting and regret later.
