Hi, just want to ask around. How many new Vios model owner service their air conditioner in Toyota SC?

I was informed by the sales advisor that a typical air conditioner servicing runs around RM300 for a basic one; just gas refill and change of air conditioner filter.

I then had a chat with a friend working in accessories shop that does air conditioning as well and was told that for the new Vios, you don't need to service the air conditioner that much. You only send it in for service when the air conditioner is not cold. Reason being that to service the new Vios' air conditioner, you need to take out the dashboard or something.

Anyone had such experience? Mind sharing your typical air conditioning service bill?

Yes, I serviced mine during the 60k service. It's about RM300 including the labour charge 

Basic service is about RM200++. That is the cheapest one according to the sales advisor depending on your mileage.

Air conditioning service, wheel alignment, wheel balancing, etc are all optional service. For a basic air conditioning service, it will cost you an additional RM300.

So if you do a basic service + basic air conditioning service, it will cost up to RM500.

Does it means JPJ is afraid that the auto lock feature will prevent the passenger or someone from outside opening the door after an accident? What difference would it make if we manually lock the door from the inside?

thats why they dont encourage u to lock

Guys, just wondering when the fuel indicator is blinking at the last bar, will the fuel totally out when the bar is gone or there will be a little left in the tank?

I always pump petrol when the bar is blinking, can never gauge the mileage I can go with that bar is blinking.

Hi all, my whity`s rims had been scratched by the sideway (just a soft kissing). T.T darn sad....
Now, there is a rubbing sound+ little vibration when travelling 60kmh above, i suspects the wheel bearing goes bad.
Decided to send it to SC this Wednesday to claim warranty for the bearing replacement, as my vios is just 10 months old
Guys..Will they deny me to claim the warranty?

hahaha, , then i should ask my mum face to face "Talk" to the sale assistance. 

just curious, will those scratches on rims effect the car warranty? will they say this is operation error cant claim?

Total 3 side bearing failure... LOL need wait until after new year to order the spare part from KL. zzzz

this is a normal issue for J owner, buying a J spec there is 2 spec that is 1 look for a manual car or 2 wan to own a vios but cant afford higher spec end up buying a base model.

at 140km/h got wind noise, engine noise, road noise... my G spec also loud...
but at 140km/h passat CC very nice, quieter than C200 or 320i

Hi all, I own a J spec medium silver Vios, I've just added skirts on my car and there's very obviouscolor difference and very BAD workmanship! My front skirt is not in proper position and very ugly because of the color tone!
Can someone intro some place around SS2, that can help me touch up my skirts to be the same color as my bodykit, and also help me fix my skirts to the right position?

FYI, I bought my skirts in Danau Kota shop name U H Accessories, strongly not advisef to buy from there!

The more I look at the skirting, the more angry I got. Its totally unacceptable! Its not 100% fitting and the workmanship seriously sucks. What's your advise?

same as me...rear bumper not fitting well....hate when looking at it....just waiting if i have money..change to other type bodykit....

i have problem with my car now..just 10 months only...the body got electric static after i drive....dont know why...wait until 20K km for service then check it....
