QUOTE(Henry217 @ Mar 1 2013, 04:05 PM) hi all, I got a question, I'm thinking of adding LEDs inside the grill and engine so that when I open up the engine, you can have a full view of my engine without torch lights.. Will damage the power windows motor for your setup? warranty void for sure?1) adding LED at the grill, will police kacau? 2) need professional guidance, which power source should I take from? *I had installed a HID not long ago, power source direct from battery through a relay as I don't have enough power to source from power window.. Currently my internal front seats has LED strips below the pedal for both seats, and the power comes from power window.. |

QUOTE(Henry217 @ Mar 1 2013, 07:40 PM) I don't think so...? Well I'm not sure, anyway I'm running parallel with the motor, the voltage will be the same, only the current will be lesser.. I don't think it will affect much hmnn.. coz i m thinking of adding the puddle light at the bottom of side mirror(juz think).. wonder which power source i can take... |

QUOTE(Henry217 @ Mar 5 2013, 12:18 PM) g-limited yup, it is 15" inch toyota alloy rim, but i really like the rims n no $$ to change ya.. so no choice have to repair lo...15" inch toyota alloy rim, correct me if I'm wrong? I do believe when there's a dent on any hard metals, when you try to bend them back, it will be a lot more fragile compared to the original toughness.. As the atoms arrangement is forced to change its shape due to impact.. Sorry if I use any wrong terms, I had forgotten half of my knowledge on metals during college time |

QUOTE(hydroboy87 @ Mar 5 2013, 02:32 PM) i noticed it few days back..but since i came back to home town..i did not drive the car much...noticed something different with the gear when i went for dinner with family few days ago..but it was night time so did not notice..noticed the fluid JUST NOW... wow... the fluid is still flash vo.. i suspects your gearbox oil leaked, do you try press the "Release" when u suffer from the hard shifting? it may help u to shift smoothly...Normally, I will use it in the morning when the gearbox is still cool, may hard to shift from P to R..![]() ![]() ![]() i feel very scared whenever i shift from P > R > P... can hear a click sound when gear enters P However, you should send it to Toyota SC and mention it to the SA there....ask them check the gearbox fluid seal and other structure of the gearbox.. better don drive too far and send to SC fast before it getting serious. your safety should come first... |

QUOTE(Henry217 @ Mar 5 2013, 03:13 PM) Hi all, I believe most of the Vios driver/owner here has change LEDs in the car like parking light, reverse light, fog lamp and so on. i oso using the white 5 led T10.. for me, it is bright enough in night, at least it make my whitey looks like whose euro car, VW So I have a question here, for people who had change the rear number plate light, if you wouldn't mind, do upload a picture of how bright it is at night, and name your bulb/LED type used. I'm looking for some very very bright ones for mine. Do intro if you found any type that is bright! The problem was that Vios rear number plate lights are 45 degrees downwards, normal bulb/LED/Cree couldn't shine directly at our number plate I'm currently using 5 SMD 5050 T10. (picture to be uploaded tonight not too bright not too dark, ngam ngam looks juz nice BTW, this is the LED i using la.. for the picture, will upload later, coz now the bluetooth connection between my phone n pc sot sot ed. http://www.turbocelica.lv/cars/bo-st185/mo...ng-lights-white This post has been edited by adamlee: Mar 5 2013, 04:01 PM |
