My Swift finally reach 5000km, need to go service 

i wonder tomorrow Mawanis got open tomorrow or not, as i want to see what wts6819 told about. 

4 - 4.5L? Cannot be. Optimum should be 3.5L. Read from the previous V1 tered, I think there was a discussion there.
I all the while uses like 3L + abit more only.

Check again after the first service, like everyone told.
I duno how is your mum's light foot like, but i've seen ppl clocking 500km+

Imagine a 1.5 swift A/T with only suspension mods, and his stupid tyres lol (he can't manage to get better tyres for the race due to his stupid "kena rompak lol")
Time difference are merely 0.06secs compare to the winner, can just tapau him if a set of better rubbers.
But he is definitely the champ in Swift club. Way to go man!!

Now i drive complete opposite way of other driver's drive on the road, pickup from zero speed slow (didn't floor pedal to metal), during cornering most of the time don't press brake pedal only use engine braking.
Like wts6819 say, swift pickup is underpower, so people tend to press the gas pedal harder during pickup. Monitor your rpm gauge while pickup then you will know why. FYI i always rev till 2.2k rpm only during pick up.

If you can maintain 80/90km/h most of the time, you can get good FC.

Fuel i not so sure about it, but for my case after trying shell, esso, i change to BHP, found my swift more fun to drive, as i feel the engine got slightly more power on pickup. And i stick to BHP until now.

Ya, if not the "kena rompak" incident, he might had enough budget to change better tyre.

Totally agree, swift is very fun car to drive. The only thing i don't like is its gearbox, however, the good point of wide gear ratio is allows me downshift to make acceleration easier. People around me always ask me why buy small, girlie car, i will reply to them, this car's handling is for man

If you can control your leg during pickup and driving steadily, you can get good fc one, each full tank i can get around 14km/l 
His car's engine is in stock form one, as the category he participate in time attack race only allows NA engine. Force Induction one need to go participate open category already. 

Currently my driving style is like you also, steady speed at straight road, maintain car constant speed to go crazy at corner.

Going to change few item very soon.
1. Brake pad - Plan to get Advics.
2. Battery
3. Air Filter - K&N or Pipecross.
4. Wiper blade - kaput liao

What else?

Semi slick tyres?
Adjustable?
Rims?
ATF oil cooler?

           

Can fit. No problem.

U guys use others brand motor old?? My sc using shell 5w-30 only.. semi as i see the price.. can self request use others ah? the SC i go seem no choice...

For my case, when i doing first service, they pour in Shell Helix HX7 Semi Syn 10W40, initial not much different before service but after three month drive at 4000+ km, i feel the car pickup sluggish. 

Currently trying suzuki semi syn, not sure the overall effect though. As i still driving my swift on full tank after changing engine oil.

I'm planning to get a Swift with Manual transmission but I know that 1.5L Swift only come with Auto transmission.
Is there any way I can change the gearbox to manual?
or I must choose 1.6L Swift Sport in order to get a manual transmission?
and why is the Suzuki website no longer have Swift Sport model in their page?

Another big question mark in my head that I hope you guys could help me out..
Is it ALL of the Swift Sport are imported unit(CBU) from Japan?
as I know normal 1.5L Swift has CBU and CKD but I'm not sure about the Swift Sport 
and how to differentiate between which is CBU and which is CKD Swift?
