All things considered so I decided to take the plunge and got myself one. I got the blue LED backlit ultimate keyboard with the Cherry MX Blues. Tried the stealth editions and it just lacked the clickety awesomeness. The new versions are all in Greenbacklit LEDS which I didn't want, so I took the Blackwidow Ultimate for mac instead, which had the blue backlight and has the Cherry MX Blues. Extremely happy with my purchase. It's everything I wanted in the ultimate keyboard. Here's some photos I took of it during daytime. This is at max brightness. It's clearly visible right during daylight in my room. Lowest brightness : Normal : Maximum : Yeah it does work on my windows 7 professional. I made sure of that before I made the purchase. Detected right out of the box, lights working without drivers installed. You just need to install the windows drivers for the other fancier stuff like profiles, macros and such. You dont even need the drivers to get basic stuff like activation and lighting modes. I didn't go with the duckies because I really liked the Razer's fonts and how the individual letters are backlit. I really wanted to get a Razer Ultimate as well, it's sexy. but the fact that it is Razer drives me back.

Moving up would be $55, and it needs to be more than 7 person sharing to make it worthwhile. Otherwise, 6 person can do $17 each at 3 packs and still end up cheaper than the $55 cost. That is 7 Persons, not 7 sets. People I know who joined are Me, Rao and Jinhan. Need another 4. Cyclone does not like Rag, adding you in, need 3 person more. There are less than 7 person who spend on keycap sets regularly in here, either that, or they don't post often. Next time can ask me also.

My keycaps sets now all go on 99.99% force, but sometime the combination of strange color spacebar make it goes 105% force ! BTW, I haven't seen a PBT spacebar for Leopold or Keycool, wonder the Leopold FC700's spaecbar can fit to Leopold FC500RR or not... I'm thinking to get myself a filco. Haven't I showed you the FC700R and Ducky spacebar comparison?
