I used some of my small O-rings on WASD keys, to compare with the other keys which I haven't mod yet, and I found the feel is not bad, clacking sound is gone, but the click and tactile feel still remains.
But somehow I like the clacking sound as well... whistling.gif

I put on the PBT keys on my arrow cluster, and the sound the keys make is kind of different... The rough texture also feel kind of nice. POM feels slightly rougher than the Filco stock keycaps but not as rough as PBT... mhmm blush.gif

The thrill to try different type of keycaps,
you start to compare them,
and the next thing you know you will start buying different types!

I am even considering to buy another 84-key keyboard to test those keycaps and also bringing around, but moolah..... rclxub.gif

Hmm, been reading through the first 7 pages but no one seems to mention about Razer Blackwidow ultimate? I needed to read some opinions since I'll probably be getting it soon, and it's my first time getting a mechanical keyboard.  sweat.gif  any feedback on this? It will be very much appreciated notworthy.gif

In fact, I'll be meeting up this guy that is selling off his 1 month old BWU Mass Effect 3 edition for RM320. Anything I sold know about this kb? Or is there any better choice at that price range? hmm.gif
*
Most of us are avoiding Razer because of their QC issue... You might also want to try out the other type of switches because BlackWidow only uses Cherry MX Blue switch...

Was thinking to try Keycool POM 104Keys. but not sure if the key's feel got much diff than ABS/PBT...
*
I bought 37 POM and PBT too, from what I feel, POM feels smoother than PBT, but rougher than ABS(Filco stock keycap), but yeah it certainly feels better than the ABS keycaps, while PBT's rough texture makes it feels even better than POM... But well, I think this also depends on personal preference hmm.gif

If you're talking about this: http://goo.gl/e8d0D, it will depend on how desperate you are. Some people have paid more. And I can probably get it for a little less if I was patient enough and searched hard enough.

In my estimation, RM480 is "fair value" but it's not a discount to global market value.

What if it is a full size keyboard? Still the same?

After tried putting double o-rings in some keycaps, I found that 2 thin o-rings can reduce key travel until it will stop right after the switch actuates the keystroke, at the same time it won't raise the height of the keycap like what the fat o-ring does tongue.gif

Added on September 5, 2012, 7:19 pmBesides, I found that there is a moderate size o-ring (fatter than thin but thinner than fat) in one of my small o-ring bag, LOL
