Yup pretty sure its fading. some keys' legend still have the bump feel, but others like the 'I' no more feel and the white is not so shiny anymore

taf89, what rainbow u got? i also got a set of ABS rainbow, but it looks stupid on my keyboard tongue.gif

mikelanding, yea its thick, i call it the big O. feels great!! at some point you will feel like you're typing on a rubber dome but its actually mechanical. because of the bouncy-ness. xD

1mm is too thin for any effect for most keycaps.
I have 1.5mm 50A EDPM rings to fit a few keyboards, so, no thanks.

So, looks like O-rings is a no go for me unless i want to have a quiet MX Red/Black board. Maybe I should try 60/70A O-rings next.

If anyone does not know it yet, O-rings on tactile switches will totally destroy the key feel.

I bought the 1mm and 2.5mm to test found out that 2.5mm suit me more so im planning to let go the 1mm. and PBT is really nice to type on!! now its only37 keys PBT. might change to full 87 PBT in the future. drool.gif

YES the thick O-rings do lift the keys higher. after trying thin and thick side by side, i prefer thick ones, because the thin ones feels like no different.

for keycool puller, the thingy to pull, the 2 stick is too thick IMO. i saw the Filco ones from youtube those use wire ones, looks better to use smile.gif

I have a question and i know it existed long time ago. Just wanted to clarify things,

1)Keycool and Leopold use the same spacebar?

2)They are different in what way from other keyboards? Longer shorter?
or the '+' position is different.

3)Leopold space bars hard to find?

Aww make me wanna sell my Keycool 87 or just keep it as a collection.
This means I'm stuck with the Keycool printed space bar! Its not that bad but for future modding heh.

Kaysa, hahha wasted la like that, all your imba keycap sets cannot go full force.

My keycaps sets now all go on 99.99% force,
but sometime the combination of strange color spacebar make it goes 105% force ! tongue.gif

BTW, I haven't seen a PBT spacebar for Leopold or Keycool,
wonder the Leopold FC700's spaecbar can fit to Leopold FC500RR or not...

I once think like you. but then i try to remove the spacebar by taking off both 'Alt" then use 2 finger to pull the spacebar. its easy actually. but im not sure for other keyboards is it the same. now my spacebar even have O-ring to dampen the sound hehe
