Those who never drive jdm will praise 3rd class asean made jepun celup car like mad n bash preve kaw2... This kind of ah beng should feel shy to jdm owner
*
ah bengs will be ah bengs. no cure for them. if they can put 6 exhaust on a wira and convert to look like a supra with wide bodykit...how can compare ah beng to normal car people or car enthusiast? ah bengs can and only be compared to their own category cause they are in a wolrd of their own.

those car enthusiast, who converts the wira to a Evo3 is still nice. car looks pretty good adn performs like a beast that can put a lot of jdm cars to shame. only thing the chasis needs to have some reinforcement to handle the new engine. but when an ah beng gets a wira, immediately on the same day, it becomes a supra twin turbo look alike. with a single cam 1.3 4g13 inside and flame spitters. rclxub.gif

so imagine what happens when an ah being gets a Vios??????????? that my friend is a R35 Gtr for them.

im not gonna bash a car i never tested, or seen anyting happen to it in real life. i have experience 3 protons in my life. 2 were pretty ok, not perfect, but still ok which was a perdana and wira. but the worst experience in the history of cars was my waja. eversince then, ive been jdm all the way.

If you driving a year 10 proton, of course its a piece of shit...lol. Even a 10 year Vios is a piece of shit

Come on man, cars are just large chunk of metals & plastic combined, not rocks on land. Cars are not best invesments like houses. Driving proton doesn't mean someone is a phailed.

the fact that you think you succeed in life because you spent so much on a piece of metal is what is wrong with this country. all those cities get their cars cheap so makes sense la they buy other cars. just because you see ang moh buy somethings you want to follow them? i know a lot of japanese expats who are working in malaysia and driving local cars. why do they drive local cars? because paying so much for something they know as "cheap" is an embarrassment.

you drive expensive car, you are only a jaguh kampung. nobody is going to high five you and no girls are going to start stripping and rubbing themselves at the traffic light when you drive by.

It's proton waja and proton perdana, still in production ain't these 2 even though more than 10yo? Hmmm LoL. So I assume you admitted that new wajas and perdanas are pieces of shiites too LoL?

Thank god I traded it off for Japanese cars, so so much more reliable and cheaper maintenance cost vs. proton lar.. Back then almost every 2-3months masuk service centre. After Switching to Japanese cars, maintenance cost were slightly lower.. Dun try to deny the fact bro, I'm talking through experiences here. I really loose hope already in proton. Unless proton give me a free 12-months trial on their new proton Preve, then I might be able to comment on what the new model feels like.

Well, i admit that vehicle prices depreciates lah. The fact is our climate doesn't allow vehicles to be kept more than 10years,it gets rusty. Not like in aust n nz, my mates kept their 20-25yo Mitsubishi and land rover lah..

No doubt, my japanese surgeon neighbour drives a proton saga and wear freaking cheap discounted local designer wears, thing is these expats are just gonna be temporarily in marehsia lah.. I.e. The moment he hits xxx hrs of surgery here, he'll definitely move to mayo clinics research unit in Florida, marehsians are just cheap guinea pigs for researches anyway..

Driving cheap secondhand jap cars would be practical to reduce # time and $$$ wasted in proton service centres, if you choose to live in marehsia that is...

In the long run, it saves you $$$ to buy that little luxuries/holiday packages..

So think about it :

local marques + Numerous service centres visits (avg 2-3 hrs each visit that costs rm150-1,500 each)

Or

Cheap 2nd hand jap marques / crappy dugongs + holiday packages (amount of $$$ saved from NOT visiting service centres & other minor problems fixes and replacements)

Anyway, I onli spent additional 20% vs. local marques for extra comfort, so I dun think it's a Jaguh kampung mentality, it's more to fulfilling one's contentment. Get it? Well, not like those songlap kings and multimillionaires, our prudent incomes dun buy us APs Or run taxes. If u could afford a multimillion dollars vehicle, why would you pay tax at all?! Lol

Think Again bro, think Practicality!
