blade88, the HP 6828 suffers from a serious hardware problem related to mobile network signal.

once u lose the signal, like enter an elevator, go underground, or if you are using Digi (signal lose easily tongue.gif), then the phone won't regain the signal back unless u reset it.

so in other words, the HP 6828 is a piece of ****/crap. biggrin.gif

go to Sounds and Notificatio >> Incoming Call Tone >> Vibrate (Tick this option)

Zookeeper, I personally do not recommend you doing a WM6 flash as there is a high chance to brick your phone.

well, the process of upgrading to the WM6 firmware is the killer. you need to be very meticuluous about it. if you do that and everything goes well, it should be ok.

don't worry about the battery charging sequence. Li-Ion batteries like in 818 Pro are designed to be constantly charged at all times. it will even make it better. but try to unplug once it is fully charged, though.

are u running WM6?

if not, try soft-reset and see. sometimes, could be just a bug.

the screen oily is normal since the oil from ur face touches your phone mostly.

FYI, the 818 has the best camera for a HTC/Dopod PDA phone besides the HTC Kaiser/TYTN II.

The O2 Atom's camera is pure crap until I can't even describe it. whistling.gif

there are some. but no point for that as the dopod 818 pro has very short range for the IR to function.
it doesn't have the consumer-grade IR like those on TV remotes.

upgrade your firmware to the latest.

i've experienced this problem before in earlier firmware, but it is solved with the latest firmware.
