I am excited to find out about Class Changes... as of now, the build diversity is not right. Every class/build end up needing the same type of gears:

+ Resist all
+ Vitality
+ Attack Speed
+ Crit Chance
+ Crit Damage
+ Life on Hit

This makes all those gear super expensive in AH. doh.gif

The idea here is that they want you to keep playing. They will not buff the current legendary items in the game, but will buff Legendary items that drop AFTER the patch.

I think the idea is to buy cheap legendary, salvage, craft after the patch...

Oh btw, remember pre 1.0.3 patch where everything sounded so good? xD

yeah, ill have no expectations this time so i wont be angry or feel cheated later on when the real patch is up, hope i wont see any hate threads mushrooming here either, dont say i didnt warn u all haha

the Armoury is srsly unexpected, of all the shit they feed players, they feed us all that shit
*
At least people using AHK for Magic Find swap will be the first to create hate threads... LOL balancing = nerf some, buff some... dangerous water here... that's is why i m keeping my gold for now, let's wait and see... i hope they buff some attrib which has been overlook; dodge, life steal, aoe skill, etc...

About the Armoury, blue post saying that it was spear-head by Web and Mobile team, was not using any manpower from D3 team.

Anyway, no expectation is good. laugh.gif

Looking at the preview, I know those developers must have gone thru hell trying to 'fix' this game. Many changes are made and revert after seeing how it perform in-game and by listening to feedback. sweat.gif

Keep it up guys! 4 months, patch 1.04... your guys almost as fast as ATI driver which updated every month (except 12.7, which miss the date). blush.gif it's not really a fair comparison since each D3 patch bring so much changes...

Personally, I am looking forward for the buff in 2-hand weapons, they are _damn_ cheap in AH now... rolleyes.gif I brought a 1.2k DPS staff with great stats for just 50k gold...

My guess is the security team is busy with the hacking incident lately, but once they are back, massive ban for botter will be good news for everyone.

PS: i had not much problem with invulnerable minions / shielding, my build allow me to do burst damage on the boss...

laugh.gif really like your analysis. accurately put what i m going thru as the hardworking type. i completed Inferno on 5th July, after patch 1.03 and before 1.03b. been farming and grinding gear / gold every since. now more like a scrubs. for me, bored? hmm... not yet. sweat.gif ya, loot still sucks though, not much build diversity, etc... but i like the game! i like melee, i like to crash into mobs and killing 'em in a flash! that's part of the reason i m still farming in Act2 where my monk can kill elites in matter of seconds... thumbup.gif

my take after patch 1.0.4
- the smartarse ones (*no longer in game, come check forum and flame all the way*)
- the hardworking ones (Bliz, this is your last last chance, yet again...)
- the scrubs/slow lvlers, basicallyplayingforfun ( woot~ i wanna try some 2H)
- the whiners (BLIZZ SUX Y U ONLY LISTEN TO US NOW? TOO LATE! ADIOS!)
- fanbois (BLIZZ, that's so cool man! so cool!)

Wanna share a very good analysis on patch 1.04 by Flux: http://diablo.incgamers.com/blog/comments/...-and-discussion

"Why not retain MF-averaging, and keep individual MF as well? So the total MF shares, but players who have more than the average keep their own bonus. For example, if your Barb or Monk was the tank and only had 50% Magic Find, while that Demon Hunter providing artillery from the back had 200%, you would get 2/250 = 125% MF, while the Demon Hunter would keep his full 200%. And the Nephalem Valor stacks would add on top of that, as they do now. This would provide an actual bonus to playing in parties; players who were tanking wouldn’t feel they were doing all the work without getting the shared MF rewards, and players with great gear and high MF wouldn’t have a disincentive to party up. Everyone wins!"

err..correct me if i'm wrong mastersss....

it mention only better affix for legengdary rite ? no mention about new legengdary EQs rite ?

got fren say new legengdary coming out in 1.04...dunno if i miss anything
*
ya, my guess is that legendary will get buff in having better affix, much like the 2H weapon. so, you will still find stormsheild, but the stat make more sense. it'd be too much work to create new set of legendary. the existing legendary look really cool. i found a Stormsheild once, although the stat sucks, i still take Screen Shot in the Hero menu with the Stormsheild.. it's awesome...

Interesting reads on legendary 1.04 prediction:

*
Jay: "We dont like the gear swap in MF, so, we doubled it... so, if u swap to MF gear, it will swap back automatically..." mad.gif

that aside, i actually like Jay Wilson.

For Jay Wilson's D3 Achievement so far.. i cant say i like him.
*
well, agree with some points. i still like Jay Wilson, for without him, there is no D3. you may argue someone else can get the job done. but i will thanks that someone else too. it takes a lot of effort to release a game of this magnitude. with so many expectations, etc. i think he did it. 10 millions copies, breaking launch records, overall great reviews from many sites: http://www.diablowiki.net/Diablo_III_reviews

contrary to popular believe, the D3 we are playing now, does not take 10 years to developed. work mostly start in 2007 when Jay took office. earlier developments was scrap after most D2 developers left.

http://www.diablowiki.net/Diablo_3_History

i had really good fun from level 1-60++. have not play game like this for a long time. i m still playing, just cannot spare 18 hours a day anymore. but it still has better value than say, Mass Effect 3.

so, some may complains about toopid loot, sheblo, for me, those are small issue... (dont judge me!!!) and they are fixing it...

new legendaries are so cool, it deserves it's own thread of discussion. Let's discuss Legendary buff in it's own thread:
