Yes. it is same. My acc and my cds acc is same name. I even try my 2 trading acc. All 2 reject as state " Unsuccessful - Account is not authorised. Reject code: [0076] "

Strange. rclxub.gif

I that case call the bank loo and ask for the problem. I had being using Maybank2u... no such problem... alternatively you can also do it at the ATM

Hi guys, just got my non-nominee CDS account number today, just in time for IGB REIT. Applied via M2U.

I have a few noob questions:

1) I've linked the CDS account to both my Maybank and CIMB account. Can I apply again via CIMB even though I've already subscribed via Maybank?

2) Assuming I get the shares, how and when will I get them i.e. will I be able to access them for trading via M2U / iTrade?

Sorry for the very noob questions, please humour me. Been trading casually for a few months via nominee M2U account but recently opened a non-nominee CDS account via CIMB for IPOs.

1) generally if u open CDS under that particular broker bank, u can apply using their own internet banking facility ie Maybank Investment, M2U...

2) u cn check the status of your application on the allocation day and can only trade on the listing day

Thanks for the info!

For 1), what I mean is is there a limit to how many applications you can make i.e. 1 per CDS a/c, 1 per internet banking facility etc...

For 2), I opened my CDS via CIMB but subscribed to the IPO using M2U (using the CDS account no.). So, assuming I get any shares, will they be tradeable in iTrade, M2U, or both? Or none... cry.gif

1) the application limit is once per CDS account under particular broker

2) I'm not sure, u better call CIMB/Mbank about that...normally one will have each CDS account opened under respective broker and trade using their own internet banking

The RM1 is added to the amount that you applied. Let's say u apply for 1k unit, total amount is 1250. So the RM1 is added to become like 1251 in your account transaction history.
*
My Transaction Details doesn't show RM1 as one transaction or added to the amount for IPO.

Possibly free charge for selected MBB accounts

Depend on the price. If price range between +/-5% from the IPO price, maybe good to buy some.

Just found out the problem. I cannot use the trading acc. to apply for the eIPO. Must use saving or current acc.

Now the problem is all the fund that intend to buy this IPO is in the trading acc.. So now cannot transfer back the fund to the saving acc. immeadiately. Fuuuuuuu. mad.gif

Taking this from the kclau.com article that forumer shared in this thread earlier, forecasted DPU are 6.38 and 6.71 for 2012 and 2013.
if the price is below 1.32 still will buy gua. if more than this, yield is less than 5% then no point.. there are better deals out there rite? hmm.gif

oh ya, forgot to mention, for 2012 and 2013, 100% income will be distributed and thereafter will be >90%. means possible drop of DPU after 2013.
