Hi, I had a chance to try the Beats Mixr last Friday, I like it. I mainly listen to electronic dance music, EDM and occasionally some jazz and a little bit of RnB.
I liked how i can feel the bass. It's punchy, strong and makes my music come to life.
As all of you may have figured out, I don't really care that much for the trebles or soundstage of the headphone.

My question is, what other headphones would you recommend besides these Mixr's based on the preference I have given above (BASS). I don't want some clarity shit with no bass feel, just a pair of cans that would blow/rattle my heart out when I put them on --> BOOM BOOM BOOM.

Please don't recommend me the Sony XB1000. I don't have elephant ears.

Budget is 1k.

BASS --> Closed type --> Quite portable --> Clarity/soundstage/yadayadayada aka not important.

Appreciate all the help. Thank you!

Viewing old thread and saw your reply. Seriously, LiveSound isn't good for me, the sound is bad for that price. Mid and high is ok, but the bass is very very weak and the only selling point for that iem for me is the volume control. Go get other IEM  lah bro~ rclxms.gif

For crazy bass I think you can try the XX series JVC headphone. Coz I have tried the XX series IEM and they rattled my heart to extend that I don't want to wear it anymore. Scare my heart cant take it.

Anyway its within the budget line, I mean not premium. Among available model are HA-S4X & HA-M5X

QUOTE(wuwah @ Sep 2 2012, 07:34 PM)
hello guys. I'm looking for full closed headphone (not sure this terms correct or not rclxub.gif ) under RM150 that is best for classical music and some 80s rock (not hard metal). currently looking for either ATH T-200 or superlux HD668. or any more recommendation are appreciated nod.gif

tried ATH T-500 (obviously bigger bro of T-200) like the sound very2 much, but the price is out of my budget.

thanks!

summarized a bit here,

- Rig (mp3 players, Laptop)
- What type of usage (musics only)
- File format used (i.e. flac, mp3, WMA)
- Genre of music (classical, with occasionally 80s rocks, not really metal..)
- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, this means full sized headphone right?)
- Other requirements (don't care laugh.gif )
(I'm noob in musical terms.. sweat.gif )

thanks notworthy.gif
