Hi, can you give me some recommendations on headphones? Which is fairly priced, preferably RM500-600 maximum.

I'm looking for something that has very good sound clarity with a decent amount of bass. And non-muffled sound, as my previous headphones has a very muffled / blocked sound which makes the sound less clear and soft.

- Iphone / Laptop / Desktop.
- Music / Gaming / Movies
-Various file formats
- Genre of music : Almost anything. Mostly looking for clarity but with a decent bass because I do listen to metal as well.
- Headphone/ earphone type- Probably a comfortable one which doesn't fully insulate the sound from outside? Because I don't like to feel a vacuum in my ears (makes me dizzy). This means "Open" right? But I do not want people to be able to listen to the music I'm listening to when the volume is really high.
- Other requirements : Volume control would be nice.

Hope to hear from you! Sorry I am such a newbie.

Thanks for your recommendations. I am interested in the Audio-Technica ATH-M50s with straight cables. Do you think this is a good headphone to use outside of the house as well? As in while travelling, etc. Because from what I read it says that this is a "professional studio" monitor headphone. Just wondering if it's easy to bring around as well, without looking weird. Thank you!

hi guys, would like to go for headphone instead of iem. i'm still new to headphone as my daily music listening rig was just iem previously. i've tried my friend's HD555 which is a opened back headphone, i having harsh time to enjoy the music when surrounding is noisy or whatever, if enjoy during night, i worry that i would annoy my bro who is sleeping next to me. so would like to go for closed back instead.

- My Rig: Laptop/ sansa fuze
- Type of usage: Music
- File format: mp3/flac
- Music genre: all kind
- Budget: 600+/-
- Headphone/ earphone type: closed back
- Other requirements (if any): crisp, clear, good music separation with punchy bass.

Have been eyeing on goldring dr 150 with vero cable, but too bad it is a opened back. Another headphone on my list is audio technica m50, havent audition it personally yet. So would like to ask for suggestions from all sifu's here =)

hello guys. I'm looking for full closed headphone (not sure this terms correct or not rclxub.gif ) under RM150 that is best for classical music and some 80s rock (not hard metal). currently looking for either ATH T-200 or superlux HD668. or any more recommendation are appreciated nod.gif

tried ATH T-500 (obviously bigger bro of T-200) like the sound very2 much, but the price is out of my budget.

thanks!

summarized a bit here,

- Rig (mp3 players, Laptop)
- What type of usage (musics only)
- File format used (i.e. flac, mp3, WMA)
- Genre of music (classical, with occasionally 80s rocks, not really metal..)
- Headphone/ earphone type (closed, this means full sized headphone right?)
- Other requirements (don't care laugh.gif )

(I'm noob in musical terms.. sweat.gif )

thanks notworthy.gif

If you are considering the ATH-M50, you may want to checkout the multi-award winning competitor to it, the AiAiAi TMA-1 as well nod.gif
