If you do some research, would most probably re-classify AIAIAI as a high-end brand too  nod.gif

*
Indeed the AIAIAI is high end only for their headphones such as the TMA-1 series and saw the reviews on HEAD-Fi and many people say it lacks the clarity on the Pipe earphones. So got any recommendations other than that? Eyeing on the AKG Q360 Quincy Jones version icon_rolleyes.gif

- My rig: ipod nano, desktop
- Type of usage: movies, gaming, music
- File format used in source: Any kind
- Genre of music you listen to: Everything
- Headphone/ earphone type: closed or open
- Budget: Below RM250
*I would be using the headphones 90% indoors, and mostly on PC.
Sometimes i would practice drums using the headphones while playing songs.

Hey guys, I need a recommendation for a pair of IEMs.

- Your rig - PC, Android phone, Walkman, iPad
- What type of usage - Music
- File format used in your source - Mp3 360kbps, WAV
- Genre of music you listen to - Full range ( J-pop from quiet, voice only ballads to screamo and digital-hardcore )
- Headphone/ earphone type - IEMS
- Budget- RM350~RM400
- Other requirements - Very good isolation (using on LRT), Rich but accurate bass, Crips and clear, and somewhat comfortable, basically the perfect IEM on this price range. And it must be somewhat durable, because i wear jeans to collage very often, and i tend to give my earbuds somewhat rough treating, as well as using them as sports earphones.

I have been eyeing three different IEm for the time being, but I have no idea which to choose, which is better, or are there better IEMs out there within this price range.

-Klipsch Image S4
-Klipsch Image S4 II
-Velodyne vPulses

And I prefer to shop as in 'in person', like going lowyat to actually see the product before buying, so I won't do Online purchases =P, so the location to purchase the earphones will very much be appreciated. (i live in KL btw)

Hi guys, I was looking at Sennheiser HD439. Not sure if it is the right choice or not. Advises are welcomed. smile.gif
- Your rig: Laptop
- What type of usage: Mostly music, sometimes movies
- File format used in your source: Pretty much all the lossless formats... WAV, TAK, TTA, APE, FLAC and sometimes 320K MP3 or m4a
- Genre of music you listen to: Rock, ballad, pop, sometimes jazz.
- Headphone/ earphone type: either circumaural or supra aural
- Budget: RM350
- Other requirements: Comfortable for long hours of listening, accurate and clear sounds, a little bass is okay but i would prefer them to be "just enough" kinda feeling, not too much.

If is indoor use only, long hour listening and don't mind about the bass, I suggest you to look for open back headphone.

Audio Technica AD series, Grado MS series, Goldring DR-150 with custom cable...

Or like me get a HD 595 second hand tongue.gif

additional note: Goldring with custom cable have very similar sounds to my Sennheiser HD 595, if you don't mind the design. smile.gif

- Rig: Using phones (Xperia X8)
- What type of usage: Music
- File format used: mp3(320kbps)
- Genre of music: Vocal wise, Dance,R&B,ballad and Pop. 95% of my songs are Kpop.
- Headphone/ earphone type : Prefer IEM but full size headphones are okay too.
-Budget: Under RM120.
-Other requirements: Mic and volume control are not required.
-Notes: I prefer an earphone with clarity, crystal clear sound as I love listening to vocals. I don't like too much of Bass, especially those muddy bass. They usually causes fatigue and I normally listen to music for more than 30 minutes. A lightweight earphone and a durable one is preferable.

I've heard about SuperluxHD381F and Soundmagic(PL30?), any suggestion? biggrin.gif
