Maybe cuz the Malaysia weather can at times it can be very hot till beh tahan that those dashboard parts expand back and forth causes the parts to loose. I usually open window and medium fan at 20C cool off for a while. Good tinting will help also
As for the car price, coming down after election will not happen any sooner and definitely will not help the market either.
Looking from this point of view, example Mr. A just bought RM100K car with loan 90% (most likely based on Malaysian car market interest so low even put into Fixed deposit earn back more than you paid)
Based on current second hand car price trend, drop till RM60-RM70K.
One can imagine when the new car price drop tremendously to say about RM50K-60K, one can imagine how you gonna dispose that car since original loan with bank so damn much.
Second issue will be which sui yee second hand car dealer gonna take up your car as trade in since new car so much more affordable and brand new with 5 years unlimited warranty(up coming trend). He gonna have hard to time to sell the car too.
Third issue will be, if this happen please ask yourself an honest opinion, who will buy proton with such good choices and prices of our car market availability?
