QUOTE(viktah1993 @ Aug 25 2012, 02:56 PM) the car is 2010 launched right? i'm still having doubts should i place my bets on forte since its already 2years old? its RM97k not just rm97.. especially to all those who has just gotten the new 'baby' recently, do you guys have that feeling "Aiyah, should have waitted abit more, theres K3 coming out.." when k3 launch latter, we still not sure either the price will increase or not |

hi guys,
i just bought my forte last 3 weeks got few issue to ask to the other owner here. 1. everytime i switch one my fog lamp or headlight, my clock, meter, and HU light become dimmer. a lot of dimmer i mean. i remember few days after i collect my car, it not happen like that. anyone know which part i need to check? 2. my boot is little bit hard to close.need to use more force to make sure it close.is it normal? 3. my right hand site of aircond vent blowing a warm air if i set to 25'C either in auto mode or manual. my other vent blows cool air. is it normal? 4. some say that corroded brake disc is normal for new car, but when it will stop corroding? my brake disc will have corroded part every morning even though I use it everyday to go to work. 5. is it normal that some water will enter at the below part of the door panel after rain?(at the plastic plate with "forte" words.) the water is not visible after we close back the door. 6. is it possible to install papago on the stock HU? thats all for now |

QUOTE(izputra @ Sep 26 2012, 08:45 PM) 1. Try playing with the dimmer switch bro..located at the right side of your dashboard. Sure it will help thanks for the feedback bro2. Please complaint at SC 3. Please complaint at SC also especially if it is so obvious. Though i did face the same behaviour, it is ignorable for me 4. It will corrode for lifetime & it is absolutely normal. Not just happens to Forte only though 5. Again, complaint at SC 6. Not sure..first batch Forte dont have the GPS HU |

QUOTE(Ah_Bear @ Sep 27 2012, 09:46 PM) I'm staying nearby Leisure Mall.. let's us have TT togeder la.. many thanks! Added on September 27, 2012, 9:53 pmIf that happens.. then this world would be boring with no competition going on.. Added on September 27, 2012, 10:05 pmMy answer to your doubts as follows.. 1) Toggle the rheostat aka light dimming roller switch beside TCS button.. push all the way up after the "tick" feedback, the instrument cluster and button illumination brightness remain same when regardless you ON or OFF your car lights.. slightly push downwards till after "tick" feedback, brightness will be still litted at brightest when headlamp OFF, dims when headlamp ON to reduce eye fatigue during night time drive.. 2) Notice the bottom of your bootlid there are 2 black rubber stick ? turn the rubber thingy using your hard at clockwise position at both sides left and right so that your boot could be shut more effortlessly.. turn counter clockwise for the boot to close with more force.. continuously adjusts the both rubbers and opens/closes your boot until meets your requirement.. make sure both rubbers are in same / equal level or position after your adjustments.. 3) My car behaves the same too.. end up lazy to complain because not an issue for me.. 4) Yes normal. 5) Not only forte, most other cars also got water. 6) Not sure.. I'm using ori HU (no touchscreen) |
