I purposely do 1, I kinda like it that way. But sometimes yeah, a bit too cartoon-ish . U can check http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2459347?author=danielcmugen , my older pics before post #17 are mostly on auto settings. Natural colours, but dun have the sharpness that I want.

I know you purposely did it.. If you did alter the camera settings, then why claim the photos you took to be unedited? I thought "unedited" = "auto mode".

i think what he meant by unedited is not edited by using software/apps...
that's from my understanding... no need to be serious ..haha

I know la... sometimes claiming it "unedited" can give off the wrong impression mar...

edit or not it is another thing. bit SOOC (straight out of camera) gives you what is this phone camera capability can give you.

let say edit after shot using editor nokia gallery in phone, still consider unedit and SOOC?
i think still say unedit because still in phone, not using PS or sofware pc.

I think some will also think SOOC is stock settings .
Best is "Didn't edit after snapping" . But very long....

i duno because that term usually in DSLR side lol not mobile.


in art side
basically it is like you draw a portrait with a photo reference at side or underneath of the paper straight tracing. some people say you have skill some people say you don't.
very hard to argue ><

like "what is art" it is very hard to argue.

even DSLR also have vivid colour mode, + - EV setting bla bla bla.... so how to define SOOC? i duno.

but for me it is come out from stock camera apps lol. not even pass through the picture edit apps.

Those are truly impressive shots. There is hardly any noise in the kite image. Ditto on the low light shot in the last image which again showed low levels of noise. The day time image also showed good clarity but was a bit overexposed on the bright scenes.

I noticed the ISO used on the low light shot is ISO50. Is the camera on Auto when the shot was taken, or the settings are adjusted manually with the ISO preset at 50?
