Hmm.. must pay a visit when I am back for holidays... must be the sewage control overflowing.  hmm.gif This kind of basement smell is very common in malls. smile.gif

Any other things you don;t like about it?
*
My problem is the parking smelly odor only. Your lurk around the basement and your shirt will inherit the smell also. rclxub.gif

they controlling about 55% (mother share), warrant is about 78%
if they offer YTL Corp share in full, YTL Corp don't need a cent to privatize it
? Isn't there a cost when they issue new YTL Corp shares as a mean to privatize it?
I am old fashion thinker. No money to make = no privatization.
Use YTLCement private offer as an example. YTLCement had cash of 1.4 billion versus borrowings of 789 million.

valuation wise and based on current market price, YTLCorp price is higher than YTLP.
Well time will prove biggrin.gif

biggrin.gif Yes, time can do lots of wonder, so can the share market. Share market always do wonderful things! biggrin.gif
I replied in full sincerity because YTLPower warrants do interest me a little bit but before I make concrete plans to buy, I also want to know what I am going to do is correct. Right now, if YTLCorp possible privatization of YTLPower is the sole catalyst to trade the stock, I am afraid I am not convinced at all. I don't see the monetary reason for YTL to do so.
BTW what has YTLCorp higher share price than YTLP got to do with privatization possibility? sorry, don't understand this at all.

CIMB keeps TRADING BUY on..... SIME DARBY!!!

implication?
*
No one wants to explore this implication?
If and when E&O Go happens, Sime will have to cough out blood... (and would Sime contest it in the courts?)
This morning, CIMB looks like it wants to throw its weight behind Sime by issuing a Trading Buy on Sime Darby.
Need to think this over?

Yesterday short push of EO looks like an out of court settlement for Sime.

Chance for some parties to off load with a session created just for them.

Just my thought only.

That's very much possible.
Just thinking if there's really a buying opportunity there but I think I will call it a pass. Not good in such plays.

YTLP share price, peak at RM2.6, drop until now RM1.8
YTL Corp share price, used to linger around RM1.4, now shoot up to RM1.8

So if now YTL Corp privatize YTLPower by offering YTL Corp share, obviously YTL Corp shareholder benefit the most

Yes, this kind of corporate exercise is do-able.

But I do not see any urgency to do it, unless YTLpower share price is severe undervalued.

You would really use the share price as comparison? WOW!

What if there's a significant development within the company to cause the change in prices?
My understanding.
YTLP share price, peak at RM2.6, drop until now RM1.8. The biggest development recently is YTL group 'put' YES under YTLPower. Despite the potential in YES, to develop YES, would require YTLP to spend lots of money (something which ytle did not have). And in recent earnings, we have seen YES draining YTLPower's earnings and also balance sheet. This is why I think YTLPower shares is not doing so good.
YTLCorp. Just recently, YTLCorp telan YTLCement. This is an exercise which benefited YTLCorp because YTLCement's earnings had earnings growth and was CASH rich. This boosted YTLCorp's balance sheet. I think YTLCorp share rise is justifiable.
Would YTLCorp privatize YTLPower just because their share price difference? My answer is no. I don't agree such thinking.
Anyway best of luck to you. icon_rolleyes.gif

for 1mdb to take over YTLPower, it going to cost a bomb sweat.gif
most feasible is to take over the 2 power plant in Malaysia

BTW i still don't understand what is the purpose of this 1mdb, sound like cashing out those cronies' business yawn.gif

That is the bad news which drag the whole share price down. The market had been over-reacted for the past 1 year for my opinion.
what i mean is YTL Corp will privatize YTL Power because it is undervalue.

Telco business is a high risk high return business, look at Greenpacket, a lack of strong management team and good financial support is definitely commit suicide.
If u observe Uncle Yeoh corporate exercise in this recent year:-
YTL Corp privatize YTL Cement, acquire some hotel business in Japan
Stareit bought 2 hotel in Australia
Now left YTLPower, i sense he is going for something which bring a favorable return hmm.gif
