Getting Started

town drive and most short distance will impact ur car FC very very much unless ur car is full electric car ..due to ur engine has to work hard on low speed and stop and go ..

I got 7L/100km on my smart already bising. Usually get around 6L/100km for city driving. Gonna crack open the throttle body to check.

Vios only 8l/100km? I thought it is better since a lot of people claim that it is fuel efficient.

QUOTE(Jazz6218 @ Aug 6 2012, 08:34 AM) vios too? nope.. wira turbo Added on August 6, 2012, 11:01 amthe number of times of start stop will affect your fc.. no matter what fuel saving petrol car you drive, the fc is gonna be bad. This post has been edited by shiyau: Aug 6 2012, 11:01 AM

You only get to see a traffic light every 5 or 6 km. And a trip could mean 10 or 20km. In small town. You get to see traffic light every 2 or 3 km. In fact, an entire trip may be only 2 or 3 km. So small town may use more petrol.

aircon usage is major role as well apart from constant start stop. try lowering aircon coldness. dont leave car on idle with aircon full blast at coldest setting to improved FC
