QUOTE(TamiyaOne @ Aug 16 2012, 12:37 PM) anyone try use tasker ? good ah ? drain batt. or not I'm using. Don't notice any battery drain. As I type this battery is 59 percent. Since 7am with 1 hour of usage. Looks like a normal drain. Remember to use tasker with root and secure settings plugin for maximum benefits This post has been edited by ramz: Aug 16 2012, 01:14 PM

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Aug 16 2012, 01:47 PM) If you can take the time to learn it, it'a a must buy. It's horribly complicated though. What I love most is my pattern Lock will be enabled only when I'm out of house. I don't need security when I am at home. And in office if you u prefer u can have light security like swipe lock is enough. So only when the I am on the streets my security is tight. Perfect. My phone really knows me so well. A real smart phone. Thanks for tasker

QUOTE(Eiraku @ Aug 16 2012, 01:59 PM) I know what you mean. Being able to automate nearly ANY task (plus replacing Juice Defender and a lot of other app) really makes it worth the price. I was completely lost in the beginning about how to use it though. Even now I'm not 100% sure lol, even though I'm running 20+ tasker profiles. I only have 8.but they are all very powerful and what I need. Some automation I don't find them very useful

Is there a way I can miltitask without pressing the home button? Coz leceh have to press for 2 secs before can see the multitask panel. Is there a faster way? Maybe some apps to do that. Don't suggest swipe on. It's not good

QUOTE(Zhao @ Aug 16 2012, 02:31 PM) vanam 2.1 rom had set the home button (multitask panel pop up ) from 200ms to 100ms so i think theres a way to set it ourself too. try looking it in xda ? then you can have a 1secs pop up of multitask panel I like 0 secs before pop up. I want immediate one button. Got anybody do? Maybe like a 5 finger touch on the screen is perfect This post has been edited by ramz: Aug 16 2012, 02:39 PM

QUOTE(Zhao @ Aug 16 2012, 02:42 PM) wahaha i think can mod to 0sec also.. I am using virtual button bar (paid apps) you can have a small arrow icon on every app, at there you can customize how many buttons you wan there is a recent app icon which you can switch between apps will just 1 click ,immediate switch. That looks cool. Thanks. But a 5 finger touch would be perfect. Anyway this should be ok too

QUOTE(noobandroid @ Aug 16 2012, 03:42 PM) i still cant brain the power of tasker, tried it, but cant think of any profile to put in, s3 is just good enough on self managing power Tasker is about automation base on conditions. I don't use it to manage power although u can. But it's a secondary importance
