Brought a unit of ABL from Mudah seller (located in Johor). Very easy to install. Done it yesterday.

1. Uncover the boot insulator (LHS rear lamp) and u will see a controller box below the rear lap assembly.
2. At the bottom of the controller box, there are 2 sockets. Unplug the long socket.
3. Plug the original socket to the ABL and the socket from ABL to the controller box.
4. Now unplug the white socket from the rear lamp assembly. Find the yellow/green wire at the socket (it should be below or above a black wire, depending on which direction u look at it). This is the brake positive wire.
5. Connect the green/yellow wire from the ABL to this green/yellow wire of the socket.
6. Plug back the socket to the the rear lamp assembly.
7. Test and cover back the boot insulator.
8. Done.

Got onto the floor and had a good look at all tyres. No foreign objects stuck.

Did a test drive in my car park. The sound is there, but it's very faint. You can hear it only if everything else is quiet. Seems to be coming from the left side.

My gut feeling is that it's merely an annoyance. The car feels perfectly normal while moving. Still, better safe than sorry.

Anyway, the sound seems to be related to something between the road surface and the tyre thread, not the tyres themself. Oh the sound is more like, rip rip rip rather than pak pak pak.

hmm.. alignment problem?
