I am waiting for MIUI Jelly Bean based ROM, but, it takes forever to appear.

I think with Jelly Bean, MIUI will be very worthy to use because all it's LAG will be gone. LOL.

-Cleared storage media data and also gallery
-Fix Permissions
-clear cache
-installed rescan apps (which most of it arent JB compatible)

Hey not yet I think here's what you can do instead, I had yakjuxw and managed to succefully go stock yakju to JB from jakjuxw ICS

You can go straight from yakjuxw ICS (4.04) to yakju JB (4.1.1), works for me.

you need to check your phone's build, normally Malaysian sets are labelled as 'yakjuxw'
can use Android System Info to check which build are you on.
fyi, you need to flash the build to 'yakju' to receive the JB update, because 'yakju' is Google's pure build

I just deleted the .nomedia file on my sdcard. went to settings, apps, and cleared data in "media storage", and then reboot my phone.

I tried google the flash method but all in pc file format, im using macbook , so ermm any mac gnex toolkit to flash from non yakju to yakju ori firmware?

hi, any 1 can recommend a good battery? nexus is so good, now runing jb.. but due to it was so good to use...i keep on using it when when i can actually use pc surf net... battery cant last more then a day le....

Cannot discuss kah? Things that can be posted in XDA should be something that we can discuss here.
Look at it this way...
Other pirated stuff, we can't discuss because it's hurting the developer's profit as we use it free when we supposed to pay for it. But Google Map was never a paid Apps. We're just unlocking the original map that is free to get the Navigation feature unlocked.
On the other hand...
If these are all free. Then...
If TWO guys bought Nexus. They bought it at same price.
One UNLOCKED the BOOTLOADER and ROOTED it to 'UNLOCK' more features hidden in the phone.
The other one USE it all STOCK.
Will this by any mean reduce the Manufacturers' Profit/Revenue??
If you say discussing unlocked google map is forbidden here. Then why are we discussing UNLOCKING BOOTLOADER, ROOTING, Flashing CUSTOM ROM here?
