It is not the case of credit card usage, it is more of the fact that people not comfortable with having their CC details on the open on other people's system. I dont mind , can use my CC detail, but the thing is, once you use my CC, the detail is imprinted into your system, which means it is available there for usage for other purposes like MS Points purchase, or Live renewals, or other Live promotions.

Or maybe what he could do is, supplied you with his CC details, and then once you got subscribed to Live Gold, simply input a bogus CC detail into the 360 to avoid misunderstanding between you and him later if there is unauthorized usage on his CC later. Now ,the thing is, im not sure if the 360 is smart enough or not to recognize a bogus CC detail. If it does, then you are out of luck again.....

Guys, here's something to take note when u renew u'r LIVE.
If u renew it BEFORE the 1 month period expires, it will NOT show on your 360. It will still show that u're under the 1 month trial. To make sure that u have successfully renewed it, check u'r email that u've used for the 360. You should have an email that confirms it.

I was so damn stupid that I did the process twice (since the 360 didn't update it)..until i signed on to my msn account..now I have 2 emails stating my renewal. So now I have to send an email to MS so I don't get billed twice..man, this sucks.

hmmm cant you just called up your bank and ask them to cancel the 2nd transaction? i think if you email msoft will take longer time lah... i think only lah...

I did call HSBC last night...problem is, they have not even recieve a transaction from MS. Strange right? That's why i went ahead with the second time.. Argghhhh..
