my sister just bought her ipad last week. She already registered her apple id. when she wants to download app from apps store, got error "This apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". why ?

neither me or my sister got credit card to register after click the review account. so, i tried using my maybank debit card. got another error. i cannot register using debit card am i ? is it a mandatory to reg using credit card ?

till now, we still cant download any apps. help me guys.

TO create an Apple id without using credit card, Firstly go to Apps Store and click any Free App, then click register new Apple ID and you are done

For your case, i guess Maybank debit card should work

I know. It should work. Now, the ipad can be used for surfing using safari only..

Is the maybank debit card number the one that on the card itself ? What about the security code ? Where can i find it ?

I think the security code refers to your ATM card code. BTW, just create a new Apple id It will be much easier

For Maybank debit visa card the security code is 3 digit at the back on italic,, ussualy there will be a reference on how to get the code

If I'm not mistaken, Maybank debit card cannot have foreign currency transactions unless you call them up to activate it ... at least that was the case when I tried to link my Maybank debit card to my paypal account.

Also, I used a US account with no methods of payment. Only bought iTunes gift cards if I wanted to buy stuff.

You can use maybank debit card to register your itunes id, just go to a maybank branch and ask them to activate your card for debit purpose. Let me guess, you've never pay using your debit card right?

Let say my acc already registered under malaysia, can I still change to US acc?

As far as i know, you wont be able to change the region of your Apple ID
