I had a scare with my car's warranty yesterday. After a few calls to Proton, I found out my car comes with the EWP.

Close then open new one lah.

My cousin's Saga went out of warranty already and we bought around the same time (2Q 2010). Read here, read there, suddenly see the Persona's warranty is actually 2+3 instead of 5. Panic a bit.

My car's biggest problem right now is the brakes. Sent to 2 service centers already and both cannot fix the problem. Braking power is (too) good, but when I reverse and brake, it starts whistling. Have to make appointment with COSE soon, but I don't think this is covered under the EWP.

If I open new thread, nobody will come in, so nevermind lah, you handle it.
I suspect it's the disc rotors since the brake pads have been replaced.

On another note, does anyone know where can I get my dashboard fixed? There's a rattling sound and it's been there for some time. I did send it to COSE a while back, but they didn't fix the issue. Haih.

Hi bro..need advise. I was sent my car to claim warranty for steering rack, and the workshop was asking me to bring service book and photocopies car grant. Do they really need photocopies car grant for that, coz it was a hassle since it was not with me.

yes, its authorized sc. Thats why i wonder why need car grant copies so troublesome.

nuthing much to chat larr i just silently following you guys progress..

now less larr bro. last year around Nov was the worst.. started raining around 4.40pm and i was stuck infront of my office till 11.45pm.

second time same month but i whack through the flood only damage was my number plate went missing. The acc shop fellow said it was due to water press against the car..

I'm not very confident. Last time they took my car for 3 days but no issues solved, only change engine oil

i just get my PE half year nia, already got people sale PE for other car already...

i think i buy PE too lated liao...haha...

start disappointed on my car and the stupid answer from SC. my car just 1 year old,

1. car steering strong vibrate and the plastic sound on steering make me  (bring to SC for checking, they say my tyre pump not enough air..  this stupid answer can accept?    i suspect is mounting problem).

2. noise come from under the car audio player when drive on unstable road (bring to SC and they stick rubber tape in. then after 2-3 days, the noise come out again..    end up i up rubber to stick on it and the noise is gone.. today is day 5, no sound come from it..  )

3. the rat's sound when i brake.. (bring to SC and they say the brake pad powder cause the noise. solution: use water to clean it, no noise. after drive for few km, noise come again when brake..  )
proton, please train your SC people become more professional la.. giving those stupid answer can solve the problem?

Err...I'm using Shell actually, company card....but prefered Esso. Shell although more FC than esso, actually still ok wan..honestly, don't feel much different from Esso except seems to have more FC per tank vs esso. Why Shell somemore hype it's RON95 save petrol wan ???
