QUOTE(veeeye @ Aug 2 2012, 11:13 PM) ACL injury. Yes, i'm working hard to go back to competitive football. I've been eating a lot lately, i'm taking ON:Serious Mass as well. Recently, the frequency of going to the toilet also increase d. I'm still a student, so my budget is pretty tight. ACL injuries are gonna be tough but with workouts that strengthen your knees to ensure that they are tracking properly, you'll be fine. i wouldn't be running or anything as this is only stressing your knees further but you'd be the best judge for that. bulking would be the last on my list but i'd suggest you get a decent amount of fish oil (~3000mg/day) and grapeseed extract is a must. the latter is going to be costly but it's well worth it. being on a tight budget isn't fun but decide if you'd rather have healthy knees and excel at your sport or just be another average joe.

My surgeon and physiotherapist allowed me to proceed with some running drills already. Thanks for your replies, appreciate it. p/s: what are the fish oil and grapeseed extract for by the way? Thanks for your replies, appreciate it. p/s: what are the fish oil and grapeseed extract for by the way? that's good then. again, make sure you're doing the right stretches/warm up before you do your running drills. fish oil is for it's anti-inflammatory properties among other things that may aide fat loss and promote heart health. grapeseed was prescribed to me by a sports physio in pantai med. when i had a wrist injury from lifting to help heal the connecting tissues in my wrist. i thought i was being ripped off but further reading convinced me that grapeseed extract does actually promote the healing of those connecting tissues. not to mention that it did speed up the recovery significantly.
