U Mobile Internet Share PlanRM68/month: 2x SIM (3rd SIM @ RM10/month), 3GB (shared), 60mins Voice Calls (shared)http://www.u.com.my/postpaid-packages/internet-share-planDefinitely not as good as Maxis' unlimited sim, but probably better for 2 device usages (smartphone+tablet).

umobile at night is a serious issue. not just isolated to certain areas or certain users, but i suspect umobile is doing a massive throttling to all their users at night. the performance at night is totally different than normal hours.
they now have 4mil+ users, with same capacity. sure mampus.
it gotten worse since umobile RAN share with Maxis. lagi mampus x999999.
p/s: little birdy from the recent dealer conference sez umobile going to introduce loyalty program using loyalty card or something. hmmmmm

QUOTE(Crimson_SoulZ @ Jul 31 2013, 02:19 PM) hey guys. I am somewhat pissed off with my experience with the Umobile Broadband. Last year I was able to surf normally without any interruption. Now I can barely connect and BARELY able to surf the web. hell even opening this page takes a while. I am damn sure that my quota isn't finished yet because of this bad interruption. Plan : Umobile 68 Area affected ; EVERYWHERE IN KL umobile has been heavily congested especially at night.

Breaking News: U Mobile's CEO Jaffa Sany *RESIGNED*http://www.themalaysianinsider.com/busines...o-go-since-2010http://www.malaysianwireless.com/2013/08/u...-sany-resigned/QUOTE News portal TheMalaysianInsider reports that Jaffa resigned effective today over differences with major shareholder Tan Sri Vincent Tan, despite increasing the subscriber base.
It claims that Jaffa and Tan had clashed over U Mobile’s future direction despite the dramatic increase in subscription in Malaysia’s crowded telecommunication sector.
There had been reports that the company was planning to go the market to raise funds for its expansion but has not given a timeline for its prospective listing. Previously Jaffa has said that U Mobile would consider listing once the company has 7 million subscribers or 10% of the market share.

QUOTE(digilife @ Aug 31 2013, 06:32 PM) He was fired due to “disciplinary action”. Not providing sufficient bandwidth to users is also considered “disciplinary action” due to his position of Head of the company. yeah, i mean new upcoming CEO that will be replacing Jaffa, so he can "fix" the mess.

very simple. U Mobile's 33% is owned by Singapore Technologies Telemedia (STT) <-- which in turn owned by Temasek Holding. StarHub, Singapore is part of STT. so, it's logical that Umobile <-> Starhub enabled the cross-country roaming. http://www.starhub.com/content/promotions/...eenprepaid.htmlhttp://www.u.com.my/prepaid-packages/prepaid-roamingumobile customers roam to singapore, will latch on to starhub network and its local call rate. vice versa, starhub customers roam to malaysia, will latch on to umobile network and its local rate. umobile couldnt enable roaming to other countries because of realtime roaming billing & charging system is not available. why postpaid have roaming? cuz charging is not realtime, and uses different system.

QUOTE(CnY Garage @ Sep 16 2013, 10:09 PM) just for extra information, postpaid do have roaming with just paying RM 300 as deposit yup, postpaid do have. cuz they use different charging system. for prepaid, they dont because it needed a realtime charging/billing and the only open to MY<>SG
