Just got the prepaid plan signed up.
It takes a few minutes in 7-11.
RM8 for the simpack then RM5 inside, use it for the daily plan and do the test.
So far the results is, in paya terubong area, i am certain to receive edge only network.
Then in farlim area, I got 3g and hsdpa signal, the speed is amazing.
A lot faster than digi hsdpa, my phone can only support 7.2mbps so in umobile i got max around 2.7mbps.
I got about 1.5mbps while using Digi network.

Most likely will switch to umobile tomorrow after work.

I only referred 2 person, which is my mom and dad. How many person for you to get rm 100+?

I ady recharged my phone 4 about RM30 since yesterday but until now the recharge still not credited into my number. Any problem with U mobile network?

I just found out that my postpaid (U28) bill is still outstanding eventhough i made the payment 2 weeks ago in August.

The payment was made in umobile website using my credit card. My credit card statement already shown the transaction made but umobile website is still showing as outstanding.

already complained to umobile but so far no news.

Can you guys advise on this?

the location im at is still the same as the past few months...home, work place..used to hav very good connection...
but now...hardly can connect to internet at workplace ...same goes to some other places which had good connection last time

Maybe U Mobile feel tat most of the customers use very less in prepaid. Imagine customer A in his/her prepaid balance not more than RM30, there is no point U Mobile launched roaming to other country (Except Singapore), am I rite?

Plus U mobile focus in Malaysia and Singapore market, but very curiously why don't open roaming in Brunei and Thailand?   It's very near Malaysia aa~

It still can attract most customers, bcoz of the data plan, it is unlimited neh... Bt once kena quota, the speed will slow down.  Not like DiGi, Celcom or even Maxis, including Tune Talk and XoX XinXun, they straight away "terminate" or charge as "pay per use" once u reach the quota.. 

I use the U Mobile around 2 years, I'm still waiting for roaming in Brunei there. But seems like U Mobile marketing department don't do improve or launched for this roaming country, very soon I gonna to MNP to XoX XinXun.   It's very attractive MNP to XoX XinXun straight away 28 months account active. I not need every month keep top-up to stay active my account.

umobile customers roam to singapore, will latch on to starhub network and its local call rate. vice versa, starhub customers roam to malaysia, will latch on to umobile network and its local rate.
umobile couldnt enable roaming to other countries because of realtime roaming billing & charging system is not available.

why postpaid have roaming? cuz charging is not realtime, and uses different system.

my credit balance example Rm10.25, sign with UMI 38, free call 200min & 30sms. after i call out for 2min, i check back my balance of free call = 198min and credit balance left 9.73. dafaq?

i have a very strange problem on my iphone 4 (ios7) with u mobile. it always give me gprs network even though i already enable the 3g setting in the phone. while change the sim car to my s3, i can get H+ network in the same location.

i try to set the APN network manually but it still does not help at all. Anyone facing the same problem?

Guys I am not sure if this is the right place to ask but can I bypass the quota for u-mobile prepaid plan by using vpn??
