*
haha there is no telco, find the 1 which best suit you, cool2.gif

better compare all telcos before moving, just like why you are moving out from DiGi, sure got some reasons why

I just switched from DIGI to UM about two months. I knew that last few weeks there were several times of hiccups of their connectivity, which frustrated me.

BUT, all other telcos have the same problem sometimes too. And they are relatively more expensive than UM. And even the speed drop after my data limit has been exceeded, it's still normal to receive/send texts/whatsapp. smile.gif

So I think I made a good decision. smile.gif
*
haha so rational comment cool2.gif yup we choose the best suit us, but not only complaining the bad side, since nothing is perfect, just like we will never get something like combo with bb + apple + andriod ....

Hello guys..

I just subscribed u28 postpaid plan and after 1 week, i hit the 1gb quota limit.

Seems like 1gb is not very keen for my monthly usage. So i plan to upgrade to mb68 to get 5gb.

Is it possible to convert this postpaid u28 to mb68 plan?
*
Ok, U28 is voice plan which mean it not only can online, it can use for call and sms also; but MB68 is broadband package, mean use MB68, you are unable to call and sms.

If you still want to make call, it is not suggest to take MB68, but if you are only concern about internet, Yes, MB68 is a good choice for you. It can use either in ipad /phone or laptop.

I think no need to convert, just terminate the U28 and take new MB68 then okay already.

Well actually i use it for my ipad which to my concern couldnt make any call n sms so i guess it will not be a problem for me.

I'm aware about the 100 activation fee for registration of mb68 but there is also rm20 x 5 rebate for it. Mind to explain how the rebates work?  smile.gif
*
Okay, Since you are interest on that MB68 plan, i will provide some basic info to you.

The MB68 broadband package is RM 68 per month for 5 GB speed quota ( no extra charge after exceed limit ),
activation fees is RM 100, will free one 7.2 Mbps USB MODEM, you can use it either on laptop or take out the SIM use at ipad.

About the Rebate, first 5 month it will have RM 20 promotion rebate each month to your bill, mean for the first 5 month, you only need to pay RM48 only.

It got 7 days free trial and refund guarantee.

If interest or request more detail, please pm me..thanks a lot =)

anyone can provide personal experience about umobile broadband? really want to find out how is the user experience since im looking for something i can bring along
*
Sometime experience share is not so important because the broadband performance have to base on your location also.
It is better you direct check coverage first

Signal is full at my area. Also, daytime speed is good,3-5Mbps.So coverage is not a problem. Issue is why U Mobile keep quiet about my complaint? If they think their tower no problem, just tell MCMC that.Till now, they dare not reply or tell MCMC anything, only saying they will investigate.
*
I understand your problem, UM customer service is really need improvement.
You broadband become slow at night or always, is it still within quota ?

My MIFI modem is sim locked for 6 months. I actually ask U Mobile if they can unlock my MIFI earlier( I already 4months+ subscription). Again no reply. At least after unlock,I can use Maxis on UMobile MIFI.Now when speed is slow or no internet,I have to use my phone as modem

Anyway, today speed seems ok till now ( 9.38pm)
*
This few week the performance at night already got few customer complain but we still cant get the answer from UM yet, sorry still unable to settle your problem.

For the MIFI unlock, actually you can try to go some phone shop, some of them can help to unlock it.

better than maxis 28 package?
*
Did you mean MAXIS talkmore28 and textmore28 package?

The benefit on this all package is different.

UMobile U28, you can get unlimited internet with 1GB speed quota and 300 sms.

Maxis this two package more emphasize on talk time and sms, but not for internet data.

If you are looking for a package for free call and more sms, Maxis 28 is good.
If you are more concern about online internet data, UM is better choice for you.
