Nope.. can't check detailed bills, it gave me an error.
Yea I rarely use my phone to call, just SMS & MI only. So, what does pro rated means?
*
let say you active your number on 7 november

then charge = ((30-6)/ 30 * 28 + 3)+6% charge

meaning your online bill not ready, umobile always very late on their bill statement... cry.gif

QUOTE(azzaim92 @ Dec 13 2012, 11:44 PM)
ohh this is unfortunate.... speed when it's fine is amazing (for broadband) 4mbps no problem but when is fails (7pm-12am) it's horrible. ... Maybe it's slow cause traffic is at the most around this time?
*
1st umobile usually got no big different either peak hour or non peak hour b4 with celcom right ?
but why now with maxis got such problem
1st you all must understand that when you start enjoying umobile broadband, it is a mvno with celcom for few years, the system linkage is sure not that much problem compare to maxis that available only since this october, so there is no other choice for them to upgrade or you expect they close the maxis coverage to fix it,
the situation would be you expect a smooth and good high way or MRT, without jamming when they close the street for the construction, you can't blame anything but just wait right cry.gif we are not that ADVANCE COUNTRY

QUOTE(sanderz @ Dec 13 2012, 11:58 PM)
LoL, not possible, the best I archieve is this:
user posted image

But now it drops alot. So U Mobile force us to chg modem to enojoy it's hi-speed? joke doh.gif
*
same case for streamyx and unifi, you can't expect streamyx get unifi speed with not upgrading

QUOTE(sanderz @ Dec 14 2012, 12:04 AM)
What I mean is, I could not get my few months back 4Mbps speed nowdays.
*
yup this is the fact
when you get the whole picture of the story then you might understand
1st. new telco or new product ( eg DIGI broadband)
honeymoon fast, cheap, just like a newly built highway, no lubang, smooth and enjoyable
2nd. more and more consumers, but nothing upgraded
honeymoon gone, speed drop, but still cheap, just like the good highway every1 coming to use, start jam bit
3rd. more than enough consumers, but still nothing upgraded, but seems like gonna upgrade
the street got lubang, jam like shit, but the toll fee no reduced, ppl start complaning
4th. WHAT TO DO ?
you may choose another smooth a bit highway that higher toll fee ( but i don't think got better)
or choose another same highway for same JAM

why like that ? our country look like advance but not, admit that

QUOTE(nymerine @ Dec 14 2012, 12:40 AM)
Town unfortunately. I was told by the CS that they're using Maxis tower here, so that's probably Maxis's problem.
*
haha just try to giving some good energy... linkage with maxis tower really got some problem, internal support mention system still not stable

QUOTE(csv @ Dec 14 2012, 07:55 AM)
Are you saying that the speed is fantastic if only we upgrade the modem? In any case, the speed is super horrible even when I am getting full bar. Any alternate choice with high quota and cheap?
*
1st question, not promise that you can get high speed too doh.gif
2nd question, asked too many times but i still think that umobile is the cheapest and highest quota (not promising always provide the best service), guys don't compare with singapore, we are at least 10 years outdated than their country, but you expect same speed of internet with same cheap price, impossible, if you compare with indonesia you got your speed bro, at least far away from 56k and streamyx for the old day

I have changed from normal sim to nano sim at U mobile service centre, Time Square yesterday. However, until now I still cannot use it caz my iphone 5 cannot detect signal (No Service). My question is does anyone know how long it is gonna take time for nano sim activation? I ask them saying that it takes half a day for activation but mine almost one day. How come?
*

QUOTE(Curiga @ Dec 28 2012, 09:43 PM)
Hello guys, are there any seller that provide registration for u mobile prepaid? I bought a u mobile sim pack in Kuching just to give it a try. I bought it for RM8 per pack but the shop cannot register for me. However I got lucky, inside got RM25 credit and I can use it instantly. SMS and call no problem except there are not 3G or HSPA coverage in Kuching. Only GPRS, EDGE and roaming (info say that u mobile share Celcom tower). But Whatsapp and 'light' Twitter are OK for me as only RM18 per month (250MB).
*
haha lucky to get that by for sure that number is not under your name, so better go center and transfer ownership

QUOTE(jinj @ Dec 29 2012, 10:43 AM)
according to the umobile website still got
what I am confused about is that how is the overall phone cheaper?
I thought u28 means rm28 per month
let's say rrp is 2299, then i pay 2223 there n the( payment upon registration)..then 185 per month.....while it's cheaper for u58 n u88 which is rm172 n rm 174 respectively...i m really confused.
*
nothing to confuse

device price was RM 2299 outside

umobile 1999
up front 224
total 2223

EPP means easy payment plan, meaning 2223/12 = RM 185

QUOTE(jinj @ Dec 29 2012, 12:23 PM)
lol now oni i understand....i tot 2223 and 185 per month is two different things which ought to be paid...so i pay 2223 at the spot then dun have to pay anything for the following 12months right?

or is it tat i pay 224 oni then 185 per month?
*
haha you have no idea why is Easy payment plan

umobile already charged 2223 from your credit card bank, then your RM 185 is payable to the bank
then umobile will charge you extra when you exceed the free mins and sms

QUOTE(Dreamezz @ Jan 9 2013, 03:30 AM)
hey guys, was wondering if ya'll could help me weigh the pros and cons of changing from maxis prepaid to umobile postpaid.

im currently using the maxis RM20 bis plan a month, but planning to change to an android device soon, and possibly to the Umobile U28. my current usage inclusive of the bis plan would about RM30-40 a month..
i know as compared to the maxis plan of the same data plan, umobile cost less? i just wanted to know if it would a wiser move to umobile..

i currently reside near Bangsar area, and don really travel much to other places. as mentioned above, would it be a wiser move, in terms of coverage and stuff??
*
you are a smart consumer, you consider well before changing, i think what you were thinking is absolutely correct, so i just share some pros and cons for you

PROS: no contract, flexible ( you can add on more data, or buy add on voice call or sms with cheaper rate)

cons : still not as stable as maxis or celcom, but overall still good rating for phone data + call
