There’s actually a scientific reason for this. It is believed that olfaction is the most ancient of our 5 senses. Joeys (the litter of marsupials) are born blind but their sense of smell guides them to their mother’s teat in her pouch where they will grow and mature.If that smell isn't right with you, the relationship is not going to last.
