I recommend you play ME1 first, to get the full impact of the story.

When I played ME1, I realize there so much story that is missing in the funny comic that came with ME2.

I plan on replaying ME2 & ME3 again once I have completed ME1.

of course, it's long. you want it to be short like some cheap ff13 game? tongue.gif

i highly recommend playing ME1 if you have the time because the funny comic in ME2 does not tell you the full story of how the reaper invasion began with the rogue spectre, saran.

so far, i have not encountered any major problems but loading save games is a bit long like ME3.

btw, if you missed the mako infantry fighting vehicle in ME3, you will find it back in ME1 because you will be exploring planets a lot in it. tongue.gif

Last night I tried the Havoc with a Claymore. Pretty impressive imo. Stim Pack + CB + Claymore + Reload-canceling is really awesome and add dual Havoc Strike on it. Seriously, it was very2 fun but quite hard to use lol. biggrin.gif

P.S. Sorry for the nothing-so-impressive post. Just wanna make this thread alive a bit. tongue.gif

For me havoc and ghost is the most interesting kit for retaliation although havoc is lagging behind compare to several other kits in term of power synergy imo.

I use this build when I'm solo-ing Platinum before, here.

Basically its all the same with someone who posted the easy platinum guide on BSN. He use 60666 build (zero HM). I just change the gear selection loadout from Stronghold Package to Survival Loadout. And I use Warp IV instead of Cyro IV. Lastly I use 64664 build as I share above, I take HM just for the rec speed bonus on rank 4 and for some enemies awareness. This kit really versatile imo. Heavy damage on both power and weapon. Oh and he just use Acolyte while I bring along Hurricane for bosses.

As for gold solo, there is too many kits that viable for it. Kroguard, KSol, GI, QMI, Novaguard, Ghost etc.. Haven't done gold solo in ages though. The last time was before the big patch/dlc came out.

Btw, nadisham has done several solo run too before. smile.gif

i see, loadout and class is only half the battle, the other half is your skill, I'm still need to honed my skill before tackling gold solo

because i'm lazy, that why i always use aoe type of power like snap freeze that does not take much of an aim, and detonate it.

but recently i fell in love with bf3 soldier wielding harrier.

Yup honestly I would say it need some skill of enemies awareness but it totally not impossible. I know you can do it sooner or later.

AOE power type really good in this game imo. Just look at SF, Flamer, BS, AF, Reave, Inferno/Cluster/Arc nades, etc...pretty much all is awesome.

Soldier imo is a very versatile kit, human to be specific. Any decent AR or Shotgun is good on them, and maybe SMG too. Claymore is a total beast on them bcos you can get 2-shot easily with A.Rush. smile.gif
