My friend  have 10years experience in audit with MBA qualification, just promote to be manager , only earn RM7500,is it very underpaid?

We know you are young, naive and embrace and desperate to join Big4. But only 1 out of 10 of my friend still stay with Big4. Most leave within 1-2 years, only few stay till 3 yrs. Although their salary jump very fast, but their job is just compliance to tax and statutory report. Some even know nothing about business operation.

Those who become audit partners most with older generation thought. To open own audit firm and become boss with their profession. Same to Civil Engineer Consulting Firm.

In Uni/College life, we only know joining Big4 is the most success career path. It may be yes, but only you can survive the working life. Sadly some even compromise their health. Some manager even have some mental problem due to heavy stress (especially some single ladies manager)

Honestly, don't you see colleague surround you majority are ladies? And most are workaholic and rarely have social life. Indirectly most are boring, narrow minded and didn't see the bigger picture. (No offense, some still have good life and bird eyes view)

Anyway is your choice for your life, and do what you think best.

I am in my early forty, only drawing monthly 7-8k sal. In a very unique specialist energy cost consultancy line ,  working life is great coz MNC but bosses remote manage from different time zone, so gets a lot of space n time. Dunno if pay is pathetic or not but hard to compare when I am in unique line / profession

You receive this offer from which firm? A financial analyst position is not easy to get as i know. How much is the paid? I'm actually still studying and plan to enter investment firm or any finance related job after graduated. Any firm can recommend?

yup is local company and im a diploma holder..
but some not diploma holder also can get this pay..
the travel allowance normally stay for a month....

increase 60%?? is that even possible? haha.. usually 20-40% ppl jump liao from my wat i heard

with 5k can do alot of things, if don't overspend. house 3 rooms, 1 bathroom landed house in rawang still can get 150k or sungai buloh townhouse 150k, kembangan, sepang, far abit but still can get freehold some more.  monthly payment = 1k

car if 5k, drive a honda civic 2.0 still no problem. monthly payment = 1.5k

5k - epf - socso - tax = 4.4k - 1k - 1.5k = 1.9k

still cukup makan la wei...
