laugh.gif I also got mine this month and it is only 4%. laugh.gif laugh.gif 7% is considered good for yearly adjustment. sweat.gif
But anyway, due to my performance, my manager is trying to get an off-cycle for me... Hopefully will be approved.
Else, next year is a confirmed promotion case for me. Either way, I'm happy. tongue.gif

My salary is quite average or low .

My friends working in MNC also both get 3 % and 5 % respectively which translate to RM 3200 , and RM 3500 ,

I am still few hundreds lesser than them. I am just so sad . Its time to check our the market value out there. rclxub.gif

Side note: With so many smart kids got all full CGPA 4.0 battling to enter into local medic courses, I wonder how much can those local doctors can earn?  Anybody got here saw any replies here for those who are in the medical field?

What? All these smart kids are pushing themselves so hard to get into medic courses can only get RM 5K meh?

If it including all the allowances already, perhaps not enough given the important work they're doing.

Something wrong with this picture if aircraft tech can get RM12.7K and doctors less than RM 5k.  hmm.gif
*
Wah, if you had just graduated at 23/24, can you get RM5k at the age of 25 with one year ?That is when a fresh doctor just graduated from med school? Possibility is there . but probably only the 0.001 % of the 25-year-old population .

Unless you are selling your little brother lor . blush.gif

both are different field of comparison
one thing i have to say about being a doctor is that the payback for how much u invested in is just immensely long
*
Nah, thats when you are just cannot make it to the cut (Not good enough) to study in Local Unis such as UM or UKM, the so called TOP unis in Malaysia . Where the tuition fees ( medical students tuition fees) is only about RM 7000 per year .

Per year Rm 7000 + RM 12000 ( Monthly expenses =RM 1000) .

5 years just need about RM20000x 5 = RM 100000 .

A fresh doctors can get about RM 5000 per month gross.

2 Years of gross can earn back the money liao .

The only thing about being doctor is just that you need to sacrifice a lot in the beginning , maybe the work-life balance is lacking and the RATIO of per hour salary is about the same compared to other professions when you just enter the profession .

Though as a fresh grad you can't demand but with the increasing living costs, you can try to negotiate. smile.gif
When I started working in 2010, that time I was 24 years old and I got 2.8k from my current employer. They gave me outright and I didn't demand for it. I was happy that time. laugh.gif
But again, before they offered me, I already had a benchmark salary amount in my head, anything lower than that, I will negotiate with them. Most of the employers will understand. smile.gif

Wow, in your forth year, your pay almost double.

2800 - 3500 - 4375 -5468

approximately 25 % annual increment for you. That's way too awesome . u must damn good at something .

I feel like jumping ship right now looking at your stats . rclxub.gif

You mean your salary per monthly is RM 2800 Basic plus RM 800 allowances right ? If RM 2800 is the nett/gross you are getting as a Master student . It seems quite low for a MNC .

lulz.. very underpaid for someone in OnG even if it is an contractor company. Get yourself out of there and try your luck on Petronas, Shell or whatever main contractor or lead OnG company available, sure as hell you can get more than 5k with 4 years experience, or even more. Definitely not worth staying in the company anymore.

I agree , Maybe he only got diploma .

According to Kelly , An Engineer with a degree has 3 years working experience should not earn less than RM 3500 , Some more you are in Oil & Gas . icon_question.gif

what is your existing company increment rate? 3%? 5%? if more than 5% then the answer definitely is "NO".
*
Now the person is being offered 12% to jump which i think its quite not attractive enough .

But I am just curious like why you are saying that more than 5 % at current company, its less convincing to jump?

Not really that underpay but your salary is quite low, based on a famous salary guide published yearly , an engineer with a degree should earn at least RM 3.5 k after 3 years .
