QUOTE(PVCpipe @ Aug 11 2012, 03:21 PM) I've been observing these for quite some times, the rivalry between SK and Japan is no small matter. I've seen a lot of times from the Asian games to the Olympic, in any match where SK were competing against Japan, you can feel the zealousness from the S.Koreans to beat the Japanese counterparts. The atmosphere seemed to be similar to taking revenge.Even in the bronze medal match just now, there was a complaint that a S.Korean footballer displayed a political banner (related to the Dokdo/Takesima island) to celebrate their victory against Japan. FIFA is still investigating this matter at the moment. These occasions are indeed what I would say as "True-Hardcore-Arch-Rivalry". Maybe similar to our relation with Malaysia-Indonesia. |

so much has been said about the rise of Asia with 2 teams in the semifinal.
But its easy to overlook that we are facing a decent prospect that both gold medals for olympic now will be heading to CONCACAF region.... i hope this will serve as an inspiration for the rest of the world that WE CAN turn the table against the masters of world football.. |

aahh i see,
btw to be honest i think Japan had a good game till the semi. i fancy them to beat SK all the way because SK looks quite 'weak' overall in this tournament and guess what, SK is the only team that REALLY looks can beat Mexico (champion) during the grouping stage..hehehehe (SK did really well in that particular match) |
