Actually pre 1.03 blizzard only need to change the drop rates to our current post 1.03 drop rates and they can keep the inferno difficulty as the nerf was not needed. Then the game can prolly last for another 3-4months.

ah is like a cheat code.... u can get very decent weapons using in game gold pickup and no need spend real money

but it totally spoils the.fun in game.... without AH I would be excited.over each loot drop to see if it.can.replace my current loot.drop gear... and that's the excitement in gaming...

eh? who told u that? lol

the ppl that were affected by the 1.0.3 drop rates change were those ALREADY farming act3/4

THOSE that were stuck at early acts were the ones benefiting from 1.0.3 patch rolleyes.gif

why do you think a minority went on an outrage after the patch? their awsm drops were traded off to please you minorities coz you guys cant play the game as good as them

Cheat code is like typing "ABC" and you get good item in a second.
Very decent weapon using in-game gold without spending real money need few months of farming.

Dont quite get what you mean. Those guys that are farming act3 and act4 before 1.03 are mostly range class or had fed gears to their melee chars. Gear check is a gear check without ilvl62/63 gears available in act1. Only way doing it without AH was graveyard zerg in act2 hence 1.03 gear drop changes and repair cost increased.

Post 1.03
Damage from monsters in Acts II, III, and IV in Inferno difficulty has been reduced.

and

Inferno - Act I
iLvl 61: 17.7%
iLvl 62: 7.9%
iLvl 63: 2.0%
Inferno - Act II
iLvl 61: 18.6%
iLvl 62: 12.4%
iLvl 63: 4.1%
Inferno - Act III and Act IV
iLvl 61: 24.1%
iLvl 62: 16.1%
iLvl 63: 8.0%

You now get a chance to loot 62/63 in act1. If they had not reduce the damage done by mobs, gears will eventually help any player to progress through content. If you had raided in wow you will understand what im trying to convey.

LoL Post.

[Mathematic] ....
Original Poster totally failed on his mathematic calculation.

Wrong calculation and lead to wrong summary

QUOTE
Chest A:
70 str
70 int
70 vit
70 resist all

Chest B:
77 str
77 int
77 vit
77 resist all

The common but false conclusion to jump to is that Chest B is 10% more rare than Chest A because it has 10% more of every stat. The conclusion is false because several 77's are much harder to roll than several 70s. The math is below. We conclude that Chest B is in fact 5 times rarer than Chest A.

Correction, Chest B Rarity = Chest A Rarity

The number roll based on RNG with Given Range.
The chance to Roll out a STR 70 same as STR 80, 90,100 on a chest.

but he is right though lol..since the item is the same, the only thing that differentiate its rarity would be the number of affixes. The rolls are all random

Lets say you have 1 to 10. Chances of getting any number in between is the same, yes? OK.

Now lets say 10 is desirable, and anything from 1 to 9 is just meh. Now, what are the chances of getting a desirable item, as opposed to a meh one?

Err probability. 1 to 10.. means 0.1 chance to get desirable. Or out of 10 you have 1 chance of getting it.... you actually answered yourself smile.gif
