Seriously , if u spent like an extra 5 minutes reading , all these questions can be avoided and there is no need for u to wait for answers from others

It doesnt ..... U can always keep your stock rom but u need to flash custom kernel with init.d support

Then like the other forumers suggested , do a little bit of extra reading especially the 1st post . TS made a great effort to provide a simple guides compiled from other forums under 1 roof . We were all beginners aka noob once . It's understandable when u c terms u cant hardly understand . So by reading thru , at least u will have a basic idea of what the terms is all about .

Dont get me wrong , this community of users are very helpful . BUT we dont spoon fed . If u run into any problem , dont be shocked if u see 2-3 pages of suggestions 2 trouble shoot . However , those who never bother reading and just hope to get an answer just by asking just ended up getting shot instead .

Personally , I'm abit old school . When it comes to cases , there is only a few brands I look into . Otterbox if I'm looking for protection and Vaja for leather case .

I agree with u on that but on the other hand , having few phones with otterbox and survived a fall , i must say I'm very impressed and confidence with the product . DELL Streak , famous for it fragile screen . My Streak survived 2 falls , screen 1st .

p/s : still keeping the Nokia N810 ?

There is an app for IOS 2 convert contacts to be store in Gmail . Best Google it , left IOS since ip3gs officially . SMS , no idea .

Added on July 30, 2012, 1:46 pmI agree ..... My 1 whole box of phone collections got soak in water due to a freaking leaking roof . The 1 that survived are the Nokias . Rest , can either throw or no more parts for repair .

Ya , they r the same except the cable . However , not so sure about the voltage . Double check b4 using it .

It is open half day on Saturdays but best call and check before going . There are actually alot of collection centers especially those Samsung Elite Partners but not many doing repairs . Federal Highway is 1 of those few that do repair for u on the spot . Never face a problem when I claim warranty especially from Samsung even if I'm running on a full custom rom eg CM7/9 . But , if u r worry , just do a stock firmware flash with unroot .

That I have no idea . If they have parts , maybe . I get my device back on the same day after an hour or 2 of waiting if they have parts . Otherwise , u have to come back later on . Software is normally within the same day unless u r bricked where they need 2 check the root of the problem .

Until recently , only Samsung support 3G video calls . U cant even find the menu to select video calls in most phones beside Samsung .

quite easy to spot fake but for non so observant consumers , please be xtra careful . Do note that the speaker is actually at the bottom right of the back cover but there is no speaker there for original SGS3
