Still can't decide on SoS or Isle of Janthir/or any other server Added on August 2, 2012, 2:29 pmQUOTE(M1X @ Aug 2 2012, 01:55 PM) There seems to be some bug with guildwars2build.com, some skills missing from selection sometime :3 Anyway... Hmm hmm just casual play... The link you posted....those are trait points? I didn't even touch them during BWE3, dunno what to do This post has been edited by -kytz-: Aug 2 2012, 02:29 PM

QUOTE(Deimos Tel`Arin @ Aug 2 2012, 02:33 PM) trait points only available at level 11 onwards until level 80. u get 70 points to distribute. traits give u various bonuses making your character more powerful etc behave in a specific way playstyle etc Thanks. I was at level 14 the last BWE3 but didn't use any points, maybe that's why I felt my character was kinda weak. Any general guide on how to use those points? (waiting for online game guides ) And also crafting. I'm very clueless about this.

Another thing is that I find it quite difficult to activate skills by pressing on the numbers on a standard keyboard, especially the numbers from 6-9 in PVP/WvWvW You guys use this type of keyboard? lol

QUOTE(animechuu @ Aug 2 2012, 10:45 PM) From what I experience and saw from past BWEs, theres alot of ppl who just got into the game and trying to set Home World for the first time and SoS is not available hence the Server Full, and about the overflow server its depends on which Zone you trying to get into, in this case is the Starting area of each Races, that covers 1~15 lvls.. I often got into Overflow servers whenever I go back to lvl1~15 areas these past BWEs and true its might be packed as the main one, but there you can only do PVE, and cannot join WvW... and after long while you went into main server, then you experience some lag issues.. as I was in BWE3.. As much I like to be in SoS, but the full issues keeping me from that and I'm sure will not having fun playing So bro, where would you be going to?

GW2 seems a lot more GPU-optimized as I am using a Nvidia 9500GT now and the difference in frame rates between this card and my HD5870 is pretty HUGE. I'm talking about 7-8fps on the 9500GT versus 35-40fps on the HD5870. Settings all maxed out and at 1080p.

QUOTE(Savor_Savvy @ Aug 3 2012, 10:02 AM) Not new Just wanted to know can attack with single mouse click or not.. Can anyone share your graphics settings? Lowest settings at 1080p with my Nvidia 9500GT (old card) can get around 40-50fps at PVE. Max settings at 1080p I get 7-8fps LOL FPS drops to below 30fps during DE (lowest settings) --------------------------------------------------------- On my HD5870 card, it's roughly 35-40fps for 1080p, maxed settings. 35-40fps is decent but 60fps is preferable. (BWE3....as I just sent my card for RMA ) This post has been edited by -kytz-: Aug 3 2012, 10:21 AM

If there a lot of mobs, how do you guys select individual enemies, manually use left click or use 'auto target nearest enemy' function ?

QUOTE(valho @ Aug 3 2012, 11:46 AM) I just used tab, I don't know how you going to target enemies using mouse click with so many of stuff happening on screen. Hehe that's what I thought QUOTE(M1X @ Aug 3 2012, 11:49 AM) Yeah, TAB is your friend, faster than trying to found your cursor... The current problem however, is the indicator for selected target is not easy to be seen (dark black arrow on top of head...). So, really need to pay attention to what been selected. Lol ya. Kinda hard to notice the selected target icon. Another thing which makes it difficult is that GW2 battle system doesn't allow auto run to enemy to activate skill. You guys use 'auto target nearest target' function, bind it to TAB key?

QUOTE(chaos86 @ Aug 3 2012, 12:55 PM) using HD 7950 and i only got 55-60 fps, quite sux actually. 55-60fps pretty good already. Way better than 40fps

QUOTE(ShikimoriAki @ Aug 3 2012, 05:23 PM) IMO, I'm fine with 30fps :3 Actually 30fps is decent, just that when you rotate the camera a lot especially when circling the enemy while hitting , then 30fps is too slow Btw, any of you guys using the Logitech G600? Hmmmmm another Logitech mouse caught my eye as well. The G700 wireless!! OMG I definitely love wireless It also has 4 programmable buttons on the thumb area and 4 buttons on the left click area. Guys, any idea whether the boxed set (SE) would be in thick hard cover or not? (like a hard cover book)
And also, the activation code would be inside the box right?

Anyone still undecided whether to get boxed version or digital download? Reason why I might be skipping digital download is because I probably won't be doing the 3 day headstart as I have assignment due on 27th August If the boxed set is really hardcover like those hard cover books which is gooding, then I might just go for it. Besides it's also cheaper like RM30. But if it really looks like this, then I might just skip it http://www.gamingguru.org/wp-content/uploa...2/04/gw2box.jpg

QUOTE(valho @ Aug 6 2012, 01:58 PM) That box probably is just for those that pre-purchase, the retail should be different box, won't be so cheap like that one haha. Though we still do not know if it's going to be those nice hardcover box or just a nicer looking DVD box. Online pictures shows this: http://images.webhallen.com/files/guildwars2standard.jpgBut in reality it looks like this http://img848.imageshack.us/img848/3474/gw2box.jpgLike you said, I'd probably wait for the retail version Hopefully something like this:
