really? does fc effected too?
*
Yeah.. In fact, no need to check manual(don't think it's inside, heck, even headlights using H7 also not listed inside, what's listed is only the wattage which is pretty much useless! doh.gif ), it's stuck onto a sticker at the body under the driver side rear door.

Not sure if it effects FC, I had never ran the stock pressure starting off my tweaking based on the 14" wheels' 31-psi front and 28-psi rear pressure. These will be temporary as I'm still looking for a set of Japanese wheels to mount on with fresh tyres(still debating between 195/55R15 and 195/50R15 and also between Hankook V12, Michelin PS3, or Yokohama C.Drive2)

Sounds about right the way I drive though, lift-off oversteer type of response I suppose? Then again, this ain't a proper RWD, the amount of control from a lift-off oversteer is totally different.

anyone hv experience by using AMWAY wax?

need some review, thx~
*
What's your budget like? There's a lot of more decent wax than that IMO, but without knowing it's price, it's a little hard to comment. I had great experience with Duragloss 501, works like Soft99 Blue or Metaclean(paint cleaner and wax), but works way better in terms of cleaning and also lasts longer as it's a sealant.

Basically, both the Amway and Duragloss is the same concept, both are paint cleaners + sealant. I've personally used Duragloss for a very long time and it's quite durable even in Malaysian weather(3 months with minimal washing and the rainy season, 5 months plus with weekly washing either with Optimum No Rinse or regular Meg's NXT Wash, no topping up with spray wax). Never tried Amway so I can't comment.

As for "polishing", on a serious note, modern day clear coats are usually hard enough that manual polishing by hand doesn't work the wonders they used to work. That's where machines come into play. Can't say I'm a great detailer but I would rather call myself a hardcore hobbyist with machines.

i almost 4got now machine replace man's hand to do the same job  doh.gif

Well.. It's because modern paints have a clear coat which is harder than the single stage paint of yesteryears, human hands would not create enough heat to cut thru the clear to reduce the swirls(if that's your intention), for the Duragloss(or maybe as well as Amway if their description is true), it merely cleans up the paint by removing the dirt accumulated in the micropores(think of those face wash advertisements, same concept) of the paint and also adds on a layer of protective sealant on top.

The one in Puchong Jaya behind IOI Business Park is the only authorised one, the rest are just sorta like dealers, any warranty claims they probably ask you to go HQ or don't bother with it.

PESC, you can also choose to wait there, but making appointment is kinda a must for most of the authorised service centres from what I know, even CoSE. Definitely you want to try to go earliest possible. Been there 2 days this week already, the wait is.. Hm.. Intriguing. laugh.gif

On a side note, been thinking of customising the grille a little bit, IMO, full blacked out doesn't look so good as the surroundings itself is already in black. Example:

Well, the example isn't exactly black but CF stickered, but IMO, more or less the same effect.

Was wondering anyone knows the colour code for the door handles and also front grille wing of the Persona Elegance model? That would be a great colour to give a difference, just, don't really like the chrome(thanks god it's the only chrome bit on the car!)

Eh you tinted your foglight kah?
*
Sample pic, done nothing to the car yet except what I just added just now, not visible anyway so not worth mentioning. I will be tinting the fogs after I settled the "imbalance beam pattern" issue though, passenger side gives a nice wide beam but the driver side seemed, lost, will either be using yellow transparent film or a can of Dupli-color metal coat.

do the PESC there required me to leave car there? SA told me so. i dont like their way. i prefer come and go. that why my plan to go other SC like at DHL area. saturday sunday open, service when come
about the grille, i got no comment. as i can see the cf sticker look visible when come near but from far it look just ordinary grill. form my eye of view, black grill really matches with white body, where it look agressive when pairing with blacked background headlamp (dunno how to pronounce). fire red not look so agressive. if grill follow body color (fire red) then i think it looks classy

just my opinion

I'm not sure, you can still ask the Service Advisor if you could wait. I dislike the idea of leaving the car there as well. My only experience is with CoSE, last time was with Seremban's PESC, and I usually stay around anyway, back in Seremban(when I used to live there), I even have specific mechanic I want, and I walk into the bay at times to check it out. icon_idea.gif

Yeah.. In fact, now I'm a little regretting of getting Red instead of White, but as dares put it, "the grass is always greener on the other side" laugh.gif

My reasoning is that white looks bigger, and white seems to be the new black these days. As you mentioned, the bodykit colour seemed to strike out with the white better, as well as the smoked rear lights and black-out front grille. Ugh... unsure.gif I've been thinking of swapping out my smoked rear lamps with the normal red/white ones from the regular FL/FLX since getting the car, coz the smoked ones really don't seem to make the red body, well, until I get a pair or at least a side of it to swap and compare, I wouldn't know. rclxub.gif

In fact, your idea of getting the grille's wings to be painted as the body colour sounds unique! Now, I need to go get a spare grille first to toy around, or you meant the whole grille painted body colour except the middle? I kinda like the idea of the Persona Elegance's grille wings in what seems like matte silver though, goes well if the door handles were painted the same shade.

Ok... Get the idea, really have to get a spare grille for this project laugh.gif Then again, I think the grille is painted the same way as FLX SE even on the regular FLX?

I only read the Outlook & Notes  sweat.gif

It would be of very high practical value to test this setup on a regular motor or a car. In an
unofficial literature one can read that a big plasma discharge ball increases power of the
car’s motor leading to 15% fuel economy as well as emission drop by 1/3 when combined
with water mist injection

Well.. It's undeniable that a stronger plasma discharge would help, but, as mentioned, coupled with water mist injection, fact is, the water mist injection is more helpful than most would realise, it's not cheap to get one setup though.
