A TM technician came over to my place today to check the phone line (due to constant streamyx disconnection) , and he claims that the splitter that i use (which was given with my Aztech DSL 600EU modem) is faulty, and is causing the problem.

This seems wierd to me because even without using the splitter, i will get disconnected also. But oh well, might as well listen to him. Nothing else i can do. (besides installing new phone lines) Can someone recommend me a good splitter to get? Thanks.

well dude..it happens.. I've changed 2 filters since last year.... its RM15 per piece at Sricomp

I used the filters from aztech 3100R and 305E both died in action...

I bought a RM10 splitter and compared it to the black one that came with Aztech 600eu. The SNR is way way way better when I used the Aztech splitter.

I got Dlink splitter at ALL IT for RM18~
Signal is good.

AZTECH splitter = RM20
